Do you need an FID to join Cherry Ridge?

I plan on joining on 6/6 but a friend of mine (who does not have an FID yet) would like to join with me. Can he join without one?

You don't need a firearms PURCHASER ID to shoot or join Cherry Ridge.

Not directed specifically at you Frank...just a general primer:

 

A firearms Purchaser ID is not required for use and possession of firearms within the stated exemptions. Those exemptions are: Home, Range, Gunsmith, Hunting, A business that you own and transit to/from any of the listed exempt places. A firearms purchaser ID allows you to purchase long guns and pistol ammunition. It also allows you to posses a long gun outside of the stated exemptions where otherwise not explicitly prohibited as long as it is cased and unloaded.

 

In other words, there are no problems joining a range and shooting guns without a purchaser ID.
