Krdshrk 3,877 Posted June 1, 2010 My point was that there's already another thread on this very same topic. Didn't want there to be duplicates and there are some very good suggestions there (Ruger Mark III, Sig Mosquito, etc).
MedicYeti 96 Posted June 1, 2010 Ruger 22's are awesome and disassembly/reassembly takes a little getting used to and is not as difficult as some say. Chiappa was written up in American Rifleman and reported to be a good one. I've handled one but not shot one. Smith and Wesson also makes an inexpensive 22, they're nice. average joe 5 Posted June 2, 2010 As far .22's go, the most popular seem to be the Ruger MK series, and the Browning Buckmarks...I don't think they are the cheapest, but cheap isn't always the way to go...
John Fox 5 Posted June 2, 2010 The Smith 22A is good and inexpensive new. Many of the members of my club have them and like them.

You may save money with a cheap gun but you will be spending money for a unpleasant experience. Save your money and buy a gun that brings you enjoyment.
