I bought a 3 shot extension tube for my 870 12 ga.

How many shots can I have in a pump shotgun in NJ?

I am guessing 7 in the mag and 1 in the pipe?

or is it 6 in the mag and 1 in the pipe?

 

I know all the hunting rules as they apply, but just wondering in general.

As long as it is a Pump, I dont think it matters.

Probably..although it'd be pretty funny to see someone with a mag tube sticking out a couple of feet past the muzzle.
