I just passed by Cherry Ridge this morning, and the place looks like a very good range.

Even though it's 40 mins away from me and it's out in the middle of nowhere, I think i would still get a lifetime membership.

I wanna join, but probably not this year. I've spent too much on my toys this year and my wife is gonna kill me if I spend any more. I'll definitely put some money aside next year for the lifetime membership.

Why a lifetime membership?

 

Do a year..... see if you like it....

 

$1300 is alot to drop on a membership..... what if you move? Job relocation? Range closes? Too risky in my opinion.

 

Year to year just makes more sense.....

Gotta agree with Troy - try it out for a while before jumping into a lifetime membership. There really isn't much of a savings unless you're gonna be a member for more than 10 years.

I look at it as $200 a year for 5 years and I'm already at $1k, so for $300 more I'll be good for the rest of my life.

Where'd you get 200 a year from? Unless they've increased the rates, it's $190 the first year and 132 every year after that.. So, the cost after 10 years is $1378.

 

ETA: Just looked at the site, and I never noticed that the lifetime membership includes family members. So yeah, if you're doing a family membership, then the lifetime kind of does make sense as long as you're around for a few years.

The life with range is for the family. The registration sheet asks you to list your SO and children. The renewal for family is $200.

They sell them at the clubhouse and during sign up days. Midway and a bunch of places online also sell them.
