robs609 2 Posted December 28, 2010 I went to Bobs little sports shop yesterday and shot my new 15-22. I am very impressed. The gun functioned great with only 2 failure to fires due to the remmington ammo. I got a cheap truglow red dot at dicks and sighted her in. Very accurate gun and I had a blast without breaking the bank. Here is a video of me shooting it and then a few rounds from my girlfriends sr-9. robs609 2 Posted December 30, 2010 Read page 11 in your owner's manual. Through our testing, Smith & Wesson has also found that thereare several brands and types of .22LR ammunition that do not perform consistently or reliably. Consequently, Smith & Wesson DOES NOT RECOMMEND that the following brands or types of .22LR ammunition be used in your M&P15-22 rifle: • Remington Golden Bullet • Remington Thunderbolt • Remington Target 22 • Winchester Wildcat • Any and all sub-sonic brands and types HAHA you got me there. but it actually did run pretty well. that was 2 misfires out of like 220 rds. I hav some federal coming and dicks only had Remington in bulk.
bbk 188 Posted December 30, 2010 I've been using Blazer 40g LRN and CCI minimags with no malfunctions as of yet. My only gripe, albeit small, is that the magazines tend to seat a bit tight when the magazines are fresh and clean (and do not drop as freely). Once they get a bit dirty, doesn't seem to be an issue. ChrisJM981 924 Posted December 30, 2010 I put 100 rds of mini mags rounds nose with no issues. I've had success with Blazer before. I'm planning on running a few boxes of American eagle lead 40 gr round nose high velocity tomorrow morning.
