I just called the NJSP phone number PK90 gave me and spoke to a very nice lady who confirmed EVERYTHING you guys have told me! I apologize for

being so resistant about this. She tells me Robbinsville is "tough". She tells me that still MANY PD's still do not know this procedure, even

though the letter was send to all the Chiefs on March, 2010! She also said a guy from Englewood NJ just called a few hours ago with the EXACT same

complaint....amazing!

 

So, im sure now I will get my 2 permits.

Glad you have the correct information now.

I think your detective probably mixed up the First time FID+Permits+One Gun a Month and told you the procedure as if it was an absolute fact. .

Many of us put trust in authority on daily basis and count on their word.

 

I`m sure that they do not get many applications and probably have not paid attention to looking into the memo from NJSP or..................

 

they simplly want to limit ownership somehow in your nice town.

 

Kudos for admitting this and i`m sure you`ll find out a lot of information on the hobby here as i have.

 

Anyway.........best you can do to reward PK 90 is to consider him for your future purchase.

The lady I spoke to at NJSP was very nice, she even asked if I wanted her Lieutenant to call the Robbinsville Detective to discuss it.

 

This is great...the Detective just called me 5 minutes ago, after he spoke to NJSP. He was very cordial about it and said I should have my FID and 2 Permits

in about 10 days or so. (I had left a message on his voice mail last night.)

Nice job, not only coming in and telling us what you found, but the way you did it. Now go pay Paul (PK90) back and let him be who you purchase from. He won't steer you wrong on advise and based on my interaction with him on a purchase and every one Else's comments he will treat you right.

Yes, I have emailed PK90 about my first 2 purchases. It may work out well, since I am taking a NRA

pistol class 4 miles from his shop!
