glockman26 0 Posted April 25, 2011 Hey guys, My son and I use our Mossberg 500 (20 gauge) to shoot clays at cherry ridge. To make it more trap shooting friendly, I added one of the clip on fiber optic front sights and removed the middle of the barrel brass ball line up sight (point not aim). I don't want to leave an open threaded hole on top of the barrel vent ridge. does anyone know how I can go about getting the right small screw to plug the hole ? If I had the cheese, I would just go and get the browning citori XT trap but for now we have to make do with the mossy (we do love it). Thanks!
coldsolderjoint 84 Posted April 25, 2011 can you take the bead to a real hardware store (local), and match it up with a screw/nut.. either that.. or call up mossberg and ask them what the thread size is?
