I assume you're talking about a Vertical front grip? Then no.

 

You COULD potentially put a pistol grip up there...... but that would just look weird.

ONLY and I repeat ONLY if you actually use it.. I had an AFG on my Saiga and Glenn noticed a picture where I was NOT utilizing it.. I immediately removed it..

A grounds I know of personally where vertical front grips being illegal is on pistols (including AR-style pistols). This is both a state and Federal law IIRC.

 

ETA: Illegal in this case unless you get a stamp (I believe it is classified as an AOW, though with a stock it is an SBR-- but these are a moot point in NJ regardless).

This is my DPMS 5.56. Before and After. And a little DPMS .308 thrown in there for good measure. I like the look of the red dot atop the carry handle vs the red dot atop the flattop.
