I have a Mark II Government Target model(Longer Bull Barrel) that has been a tank. I bought it used in the early 90s. 15k rounds later and I replaced the extractor. That's it.

 

I have a Bushnell trophy mounted on it. I'm thinking of taking it back off just to be different.

i Have a Ruger Mark III target exclusive with the aluminum Hogue grips and bull barrel. Wasn't a fan of the square-ish 22/45 grips. 5.5" barrel Stock sights are pretty good, but you can upgrade them to true glo sights or something. It comes with a rail if you want to mount optics. Probably the most fun pistol i have.

These are both nice. That's pretty cool with the white grips, but I think I prefer the stainless.

You can get after market grips and fiber optic sights. The bull barrels are really nice to shoot.

Personally, I like the 22/45 grip. That doesn't make it "better."

5 inch bull - for accuracy. The slab sides and fluted ones are pretty nice.
