hd2000fxdl 422 Posted October 28, 2011 I was going to say, check there website if they have one, and see if it mentions anything about it there, also if it was earlier in the season I was going to say, make sure it's a Glock, they have water rides.. Pizza Bob 1,488 Posted October 28, 2011 It would be up to the park owners because it's private property. They may wand or pat down at the entrance. If you conceal and get made and are asked to leave, and don't, you could be charged with defiant trespass. No law against carrying in an amusement park and signs do not carry the weight of law. vladtepes 1,060 Posted October 29, 2011 I have been in the same dilemma.. I am in PA for a little bit of time and have been going to MANY "haunted events" if they don't have obvious signage.. and there is no checkpoint.. I carry.. but obviously they list it on the site so it is probably a "no go" I would bet there are pat downs and or metal detectors.. on a side note I have only been to One place so far in PA that had a metal detector (besides a couple of concerts).. So I just took my $200 Glock and locked it in my trunk..

vladtepes 1,060 Posted October 29, 2011 100% sure - this^^^^^ that is what I thought... violating those "signs" is not like some kind of "crime".. in fact I was going to grab a bite to eat a bar/pub and had reservations about carrying my gun.. turns out that PA does not even disallow carrying at bars (as far as I could tell)

NFRs2000NYC 7 Posted November 1, 2011 Since it's private property, they can determine their own rules. Call up the park and ask if they have a no firearm policy.
NFRs2000NYC 7 Posted November 1, 2011 while I am not %100 certain.. I am pretty sure in PA they can JUST ask you to leave if for some reason you are "discovered".... This is true for any state. The 2nd amendment does not include private property. Any private landowner/business owner may ask you to leave if they do not want firearms on premises. It becomes trespassing, or even worse, can be charged with criminal trespassing.
