checko 180 Posted February 26, 2012 m9 has a straight dust cover and the dot and post sights. I think it looks better. And if you get the 25 anny version you get the pretty grips. or get the a1 version of either with the tac rail.
this_is_nascar 162 Posted February 26, 2012 So far, I'm pleased with my 92A1. It have several benefits over the other 92 variations.

Would be helpful .40 would be the Beretta 96 / 96a1 / 96d / etc M9 is only available in 9mm. That being said, 2 good reasons to buy M9: that sexy Straight Dust Cover & "US M9" stamped on the gun
Scott Lane 0 Posted February 26, 2012 To checker50 I don't have a beretta pistol yet. Diamondd817 I know m is in 9mm after I was thinking I have the storm in 40 so more clips/ less ammo

The 9mm is much more fun to shoot from the 92 platform.
JackDaWack 2,895 Posted February 26, 2012 m9 m9a1 92a1 92fs -9mm It's all about preference with these models, they all basically shoot the same. 96a1 -.40 Has the buffer to manage recoil + the rail adds some extra weight to the front. those would be your best options for Beretta in the 92 style. Underdog 1,593 Posted February 26, 2012 You should see which one has the upradeable front sight and get that one. I am not sure the M9A1 has that feature, but I think the 92A1 does.

Underdog 1,593 Posted February 27, 2012 Ramsey's in Ledgewood had the compact Beretta 92. It was a nifty little gun, but the grip size and distance to the trigger looked to be about the same dimensions. If it had a slightly smaller grip, I might have been interested. It would make a nicer carry gun, though, especially if it could use the full-size magazines. Still, if I was getting a 92FS or variation, I would prefer the larger one with the longer sight radius. This is pretty cool: 92FS In Combat. WOW!
