Speaking of those.. I was shooting them a few weeks ago in my 795, and compared to the MiniMags I had, they were much less accurate and consistent at 100 yards. Anyone else notice that?

I don't really expect match grade accuracy on any of the bulk pack ammo sold. I just find these CCI Blazers much cleaner and better in overall quality than the Remington bulk 22lr's.

I dont expect anything much in terms of accuracy either, but i had a hard time keeping them on the paper all together..

wow... my 9yr old son consistently hits my eight inch steel plates using my m&p 15-22 from 50yrds with the stock iron sights with this ammo.

 

Could it be a bad batch that you got?

I like the Federal as well and I have a few boxes in stock. I don't have any problems with them in most of my 22lr guns. But my marlin 60 gets fte's with them every now and then.

Not sure, next time ill try a closer range too. I was at Dix and only had them set up at 100 and 125 yards.

 

As soon as I loaded CCI blue box standard velocity (not even the minimags), i was dead on. The Blazer box i thought something happend with the scope and lost zero or something because thats what i started with that day.

 

I picked up the blazer specifically to use in my AR with a .22LR conversion BCG just to plink, but i did want to try it a longer distances with a scope and it didnt work out too well..

CCI Blazer bulk is very dirty and tough to clean IMO. But they work great in every gun.

 

Federal Bulk Pack is cleaner and work pretty darn good. Some semi pistols do not like them.
