The important date is when you first got your FPIC. If you have a non-expiring one, when you move and do a change of address you will still have a non-expiring one. The $50 fee isn't grandfathered, sadly.

That really sucks that the newer ones expire. It is going to suck for me if I ever move. I will have to check mine when I get home but mine definitely does not have my picture on it. I think I got it back in 2012 when I moved. I hear is also $50 now to renew when I only paid $5! This just seems to be another form of suppression of our rights.

Dino was asking the question and I would assume that he and most everyone here got their initial FPID card before 10/25/2022! These cards do NOT expire after 10 years. I got my card in 1983 and it still works just fine!
