ZOMBIE 19 Posted July 21, 2012 I was wondering if anyone knows a place around Toms River to apply for the Florida and Utah CCW Permits. I was looking for a class as I never really looked into CCW and will be traveling alot in the near future. I was just wondering if there were any good places that offer this training in my area? iRescue 0 Posted July 22, 2012 I took mine at GFH up in Cedar Grove. They have a location in S. Jersey as well. They got everything squared away for me real quick. Got mine in 3 weeks.

Steve_G 51 Posted July 22, 2012 Also check out GAPP. They hold classes at Range 14 and a few other places. http://njgunforums.com/forum/index.php?/forum/119-green-academy-of-personal-protection/
kman 56 Posted July 22, 2012 Take a little skip over the border to Bristol, Pennsylvania and you can get Florida, Virginia and Utah carry permits at Ready Aim Fire. And rent a machine gun at the range for good measure.
Heavyopp 167 Posted July 22, 2012 Do you have a shotgun or rifle hunting license? If you do, and still have the certificate, thats all you need. No need for someone else to do your paperwork, send the completed application, a copy of your hunting license certificate stating you completed the firearms safety course, a passport photo, and a check for whatever the current fee is. Mine took exactly 1 month to get back to me. Jer

Mine basically laughed in my face when I asked if they would do them for my FL CCW.
mrjam2jab 9 Posted July 24, 2012 You don't say where your travels will take you....will FL be one of those places? If you will be going to FL, then you will definitely need the FL permit. If you will not be going to FL then skip that one for the cheaper options of UT and/or AZ. Here is a list of UT instructors. http://publicsafety....nstructors.html. You would need to take a class from a UT instructor before applying for the UT permit. $51/$15 initial/renewal. AZ is just about as cheap at $60/$43...but the training options are greater. No pic required and anybody can do your prints. http://www.azdps.gov...Permits/Obtain/
