Spotting Scope Suggestions?

Folks, Need a new decent spoting scope - for up to 300 yards...Looking for a middle of the road price vs performance model...

 

Any suggestions who to go with?

I know I asked a lot of dumb questions since I joined :-) - but didn't think I asked about a spotting scope - hope I am not going cenile in my mid 50's :-).

Yep, you're right Bob, was thinking of that too. My apologies... Carry on Combat Auto... But that is definitely a good thread to start with...

Interesting link/post - looks like many like the Konus price point (as do I - save the big money for rifle scope down the road)...I just need to see .308 holes in paper targets up to 300yards...I wan't clear on which Konus model will do this - any insight is appreciated.

I went with this one - 229 bucks what the heck - just looking at holes in paper...

The reviews on midway were very good - can see holes out to 300y on a clear day.
