How is Toms River for FPID and P2P

Recommended Posts

I am . I know the woman who helps with the paperwork and it still took about 90 days. There are a couple of extra forms. I did not make copies. Please make copies, and scan and email them to me at [email protected] so i can get Toms River on the list of Townships to remove extra paperwork. We have been working very hard and have gotten many townships to remove any extra paperwork. We are going one at a time, but at least we are making progress!

Not to hijack the Toms River thread, but has NJ2AS had any luck with Bayonne's extra forms requirements? Thanks!

First time FPID and one pistol permit back in 1995 took me 3 months. More recently (July) it took me 31 days to get two purchase permits. I was pleasantly surprised given when I submitted the paperwork they gave me the obligatory "we're very busy at this time" excuse for why they would not be ready in 30 days.

Toms River has three extra forms if I recall. One is basically all the same information you need to fill out on the state form anyway except they asked for additional information like your email address which I left blank. Unless they have some killer jokes to send or some over the top funny police radio transmissions they would like to share they ain't getting my real email address. One form was asking to provide a list of people that live in your home including social security numbers which I find extremely problematic. I listed my wife's name but did not include her social. I can't recall the third form, I think is was previous addresses over the last 10 years or something which didn't apply to me as I have lived here for 17+ years.

Please let us know if they have begun using additional forums again

thanks

Ha-ha! That link goes back to Frank's report about ME and the sparring I did with the Bayonne PD and Chief. I haven't put in for any permits recently, but a neighbor did, and they DID ask him for the additional ref's.

thats what we need to know. I think since you had success we did not let the lawyer on them. I will inform the board and we will put Bayonne back on the list.
