DevsAdvocate 112 Posted January 3, 2013 Record breaking month for NICS. 2.78 million checks. 39% increase over November 2012, and 49% increase over December 2011. Found it on Reuters
H.M. Murdock 0 Posted January 3, 2013 Does NJ NICS hit that counter? Or are the NJSP checks completely automonous? I also wonder on average how many NICS checks result in a gun buy? 50% rate expands the national total gun count by 1% or more Could be on for 6 million checks next month since this was just a couple weeks

NJTrace uses NICS. How many NICS = a gun buy? Probably 95% of them were gun buys. Were they new guns? Maybe. 6 million next month might be a bit much. The only thing which would slow all this down is supply.

I'm sure there have been many multiple purchases over the last 2 months.
