I have read conflicting things about this ammo, this is info I found on another site

"On the chart number 2 FMJ lead core is corrosive. Number 10 FMJ lead core is non-corrosive.

http://arsenal-bg.co...ice/7,62x39.htm

Corrosive has a steel case, non-corrosive has a bi-metal case.

Sometimes (but not always) green sealant indicates non-corrosive and red sealant is corrosive. There is also purple sealant and some sort of orange sealant just to add confusion.

Since it says so on the chart I would think it might say non-corrosive on the tin or the wooden case that holds two tins. Otherwise I would think it might be corrosive."

If it's a good price get it, dealing with corossive ammo is simple as stated above.

Just wet down a bore snake with windex and run it through the bore a few times then clean out the action

with some add some oil and you are good to go until you do a full cleaning down the line.
