More Insanity.....

Recommended Posts

What comes next? Suing GM if one of their cars is driven recklessly by someone and they kill another driver in a wreck? Suing Budweiser because someone got drunk, got into a fight and killed someone? Suing Sears because someone used a Craftsman hammer to kill someone? <_<

In the Liberal mind, none of those things you mentioned were specifically designed to kill whereas guns were, therefore manufacturers should be held liable....This is what we are up against. Doesn't make any sense to a normal a person of normal intelligence, unfortunately people who think this way are growing more numerous.

This is all good, it will wake up those in our ranks that vote for these assclowns. One thig is certain, the next election cycle is going to be fun to watch. BTW, the lawful Commerce in Arms act already preempts such suits and is an affirmative defense that will get the suits bounced. Let them waste their time and taint their reelection prospects before the can do some real damage.

Wasn't this line of thinking already tried and squashed via the federal courts?

Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act

The purpose of the act is to prevent firearms manufacturers and dealers from being held liable for crimes committed with their products. However, both manufacturers and dealers can still be held liable for damages resulting from defective products, breach of contract, criminal misconduct, and other actions for which they are directly responsible.
