New Jersey Assambly is voting now on the new gun control laws

Assemblywoman Simon's office just told me they are voting now. Simon is opposed. I spoke to Senator Bateman's office and he is opposed as well. The bills, obviously, have not gotten to the Senate yet.

Yes, they were supposed to vote the Bills heard in Committee yesterday, TODAY on the Floor based on what I overheard! Disgraceful ramrodding of legislation if this is true. The real rub is that none of the Gun Control Bills were on the voting session list for today... Here's the live feed, and so far only covering what was to be voted per session list. Don't know if this is going over into a special session or what. Otherwise, I would have thought they'd be voted on in the voting session on the 21st.

The lady from Simon's office just said that I was too late to log my objection because they are voting now. If it cleared committee yesterday, isn't the next step the entire Assembly?

HAHA. I just called both of my assemblymen and they took note of my objection. No one mentioned anything about it being voted on already.

Checked the NJ Assembly Webpage None of the bills from yesterday are showing up on the Docket for vote today!
