figured I'd share with the group

I bought this unfired and have put only 200 rounds through it. All matching, built in 43

has 2 dents in the wood on the one side

the bolt shows some oil as I keep my stuff wet in the safe

I bought it at a gun show and they guy opened the crate right in front of me. The crate had not been opened since 1943 and was all original locks, wood, etc. He had a truck with crates in the back. My guess is it was made for the defense of Moscow for the civilian arm and sent there waiting based on the numbers and some research. The action is incredibly smooth, you'd never know it was mosin by how easy she cycles

He had others but only picked this one up but should have gotten more.

Stupid me I didn't buy any others

I keep it in a sock in the safe and have toyed with selling it seeing what some people are selling their mosins for but decided against it after taking those pics.

What re they selling for? I want to get rid of one of mine - M44 (yes, no more room in the gun safe), but it's not worth the hassle for $100
