Muzzleloader transfer between NJ residents

What is involved in a transfer of a muzzleloader between New Jersey residents? FTF transfer OK?

Basically same rules as modern firearms.  FID, DL, and COE or P2P as the case maybe.

Do everything you would do if it were a firearm, because it is a firearm in NJ. If it is a rifle do the certificate of eligibility. If pistol get a purchase permit. Transport it with all legalities you would observe if it were a cartridge firing firearm, at least while in NJ
