Open ranges near Mercer County?

I've been way up to the Bullet Hole, and over to Lakewood for hourly lane rental.  I'm looking for something not so far away, that offers walk-in range time, and I can use my shotgun and/or my AR-15

 

The AR and shotty are not deal breakers, as I'd also be happy shooting a pistol for an hour.

 

I know there are 2 or 3 clubs in the area, but I'm not interested in applying and paying for membership, mainly because I don't shoot often enough to justify the cost.  (plus, I'm cheap)

And from what I heard in another thread,  one of them is closed to new members anyway.

 

I go to Shore Shot for this reason, but the hour drive each way is a hassle.

I know you said you don't want to join. But for what you want Range 14 at Dix will work. 60 to join (i.e. 3 hours at ready aim) and you can shoot the AR and SG too. $4 an hour when there. So if you sho0t 4 hours a year it covers the cost.
