M&P C.O.R.E.

Recommended Posts

The Trijicon RMR series is the way to go. I have an RMR02 on a Glock 35 .40 with just over 1K rounds down range over the last year. I am still on the same battery and I have had no issues with holding zero or electronic failure despite the comparatively stout recoil of the .40 S&W round.

If you are concerned, Trijicon has improved the internals and windage/elevation adjustment systems on the newest version of all RMR models specifically for pistol mounting. Seems Trijicon didn't think their product would be used that way and the few failures they have been having (mostly loss of zero) were a surprise. They have since made the internals more robust along with the zeroing mechanics. These new more rugged optics are shipping now.
