ElmerFudd 0 Posted October 26, 2013 Hey all, just wondering where you have found the best prices for fixed blade knives... Amazon has some decent prices for a few brands though they usually sell them from third-parties so I'm thinking there may be some stores with better pricing. Any ideas? If you need specifics, I'm still deciding on length and type of my next purchase so it could be anywhere between a 5in. to a 7in blade. I use a kukri for wood work while camping so I'd probably prefer something with serrations. I really like the Gerber Silver Trident in terms of quality (154C blade, well designed handle), length (6.18 in), and style (some room on the back for a thumb, in case you want to do some close work), but it is a bit pricey at $170 so I'd like to get something much less expensive. Under the $100 mark would be great. Thanks in advance.
gfl216 226 Posted October 26, 2013 Slickguns shows what looks like some pretty good deals, but I'm far from a knife expert.

Heavyopp 167 Posted October 26, 2013 If you decide to order online I've had great success with knifeworks -- hard to beat an Esee 4 or 5 for camp work... http://www.knifeworks.com/
Shawnmoore81 623 Posted October 26, 2013 Cabelas is having a good sale. Also most ffl's can get knives too. The distributors a lot of times carry both. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
