Ferfrans muzzle brake. Is it nj legal

Any ideas if the Ferfrans CQB muzzle brake nj legal? I'm interested in this for a new build.looks like the perfect piece for my pseudo compressor build.

I see no reason it would not be legal as long a the inner section (Break) is pined 

to the barrel. The outer section (CRD) does not thread on, so the barrel cannot be 

considered threaded.

 

In my opinion - you will be fine!

 

The big question is does the State of NJ consider the connection between the muzzle

devise & the shield "Threads"?

And, is the shroud and/or the inner section considered a Flash hider???

It's heavy, and without the shield, I don't see why it wouldn't be NJ legal. With the shield, it doesn't look like it would pass the finger test, and will reduce muzzle flash. Thats' my assessment, I'm not in charge of the police, your milage may vary.
