I have been watching the calendar on they website for a few years and ive never seen a new member registration open meeting. Has anyone ever seen it or does anyone know if they have had any new membership meetings in the past few years? It seems there no hope in ever getting in there.

I was there a couple years ago as a guest...apparently theres some big waiting list? Plus it seems expensive for what it is.

i was there around 5 years ago now. Place was nice. what i like is that you get a key and can go whenever between certain hours and its only 10 minutes from my house.

I'm pretty sure you need to know someone who knows someone to get a membership.

I tracked it for a long time, because it's close to me as well.  I believe wsaraceni nailed it.  Unless you have a connection, there's no hope of getting in.

I don't understand why they maintain the charade that they have open registration from time to time, because it seems like they never do.

 

Plus, they seem to be pretty arrogant about the whole thing.  I sent the guy a polite note, and even stopped by once or twice.  I never received even as much as a brief reply, not even the dismissive, "Thank you for your interest.  We have no openings at this point.  Watch our website...  Blah, blah, blah."

 

Just bite the bullet and join Gun for Hire.  It's where the action is!

all the above are prob right... I too looked at it a good few yrs ago, its a pretty tight club and like getting ccw, its who you know and thats if there is room.

There are a couple of good ways to get to know the members and find out when the new member orientations come up. The club runs bullseye leagues which are open to non members and accepting of beginners. There are also GSSF practice matches running now for a few more weeks. They are open to both non members and non-glocks. Schedules are on their website.
