Shawnmoore81 623 Posted September 4, 2014 This has to be the worse I've seen. Plus it has to be notarized.

mikeyjones 88 Posted September 4, 2014 I like the section that says "treated by doctor" clearly disqualifies everyone Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
djg0770 481 Posted September 4, 2014 I'm thinking of taking the form and spoofing it...
Shawnmoore81 623 Posted September 4, 2014 I spoke with paulsboro. They want someone from nj2as or the anjprc to contact them. They said they didn't know and just pulled the form from another department

njJoniGuy 2,131 Posted September 4, 2014 Except for #11, this Paulsboro form is a duplicate of the one Cherry Hill (Camden County) uses (or did so in 2012 when I executed one for a friend) It's their form CHPD Form #353, and does not include the Domestic Violence question. It also requires notarization. Fascist pigs abound, it seems
matty 810 Posted September 4, 2014 Oh LAWD, who's stupider, the originators of the form with all its misspellings and idiotic questions, or the idiots that copied it? Does it take two functioning brain cells to be a PD Chief or LT/CPT or whoever makes up these forms? I spoke with paulsboro. They want someone from nj2as or the anjprc to contact them. They said they didn't know and just pulled the form from another department
intercooler 41 Posted September 5, 2014 If it were me, I'd file a suit against it. Class action . You'd get paid
Shawnmoore81 623 Posted September 5, 2014 I'm not out to sue police departments.
intercooler 41 Posted September 5, 2014 Towns get sued all the time. If they break the law, they are liable both civil and potentially criminal. If I live there I would file a tort claim with them, stating they were violating my rights and nj law. They would be screwed. The insurance company they deal with would force them to comply What do I know? I am just a dumb elected official who made the dept in my town comply
BMWR12 35 Posted September 6, 2014 My brother just got a very similar form from Manchester PD. What questions are they legally allowed to ask on this form?
ogfarmer 138 Posted September 6, 2014 The form is To invasive
BMWR12 35 Posted September 6, 2014 I have never heard of a town that didn't have the form in some capacity. My town just asks by letter if there is any reason the person should own a gun and if they suffer from any mental issues.
Polak 3 Posted September 7, 2014 Aren't these EXTRA forms illegal?
intercooler 41 Posted September 7, 2014 hence you should file a tort claim....that will end that immediatly
ryan_j 0 Posted September 9, 2014 Show them a copy of the Perez decision and explain the form is illegal
