I remember going to see Star Wars IV: A New Hope at the Atlantic Highlands Movie Theater.

My Dad worked there til i was 5. My Mom used to call the movie theater number at bedtime so I could hear my dad's voice when he read the movie titles and showtimes

A also remember seeing "Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger" at the drive in in Hazlet. I don't remember which one came out first.

 

My first R rated movie was "Predator". My friends and I snuck in to see it downtown in Atlantic after paying to see "Harry and the Hendersons". When we came out our parents were waiting for us.

First one i remember is the original star wars.   1976 i think.   Great stuff back then.    Bought every action figure after that.
