I like the idea but would prefer an American made gun. An M16 or a Garand, rather then a Russian rifle.

Maksim, I believe as Americans with a sight that is all about individual freedom and our liberty we would be better represented by an American weapon. One used to preserve and protect freedom, not one used by one of the most represive regimes on the planet. Its akin to using a MP-40 or AK-47.

I guess its also a little American pride showing through, I would prefer a weapon that I carried in the service of our country not the weapon of our adversaries. I was a cold warrior and we always trained to fight the Soviets.

I hope this makes sense.

Colt started making revolvers in Patterson in the 1830's if you wanted a NJ made firearm. There have also been many an invention from the Picatinney Arsenal. If not, an M16.
