Just noticed a similar thread.  Looks like the buyer just need an FID with a DL with matching address.

 

Is that it?  Any restrictions on where the sale can occur?

Just FPID and DL, no restrictions on where the sale occurs, although I would probably avoid the middle of a MDA rally.

Actually.   Legal wise.  For hollow point ammo you should be at an exempt location for the sale.

Didn't think of that. If true, what are exempted places? As I read it the law states one can possess hollow points in home, while hunting, or to and from a range, or from the place of purchase, as long as person possesses a fpid/permit. It doesn't specify restrictions on types of places of purchase.

If you're the seller and the buyer comes to your home to buy then you're OK. If you go to meet the buyer somewhere, it has to be a place that you are allowed to transport HP to. That would be a range, typically.
