I have run Linux, but not enough to speak competently on this. I searched for "how to resize linux boot partition" and among another hundred links came up with this: 12.10 - How do I resize my /boot partition? - Ask Ubuntu In Windows partitions must be contiguous. And expansion (or contraction) is usually done from the 'back' of the partition, not the front. At least with the usual system utilities. So free space must be available for that. I saw the article suggested removing old kernels from /boot, if there are any. That would free up some space for updates.

I realize this is a year late, but I see the issue has been identified but the solution was not, so I'm posting for you or anyone else with the same issue. The cause was the buffer retainer coming up too high, it's supposed to live in that groove only contacting the face of the buffer not the bottom of the bolt. The *reason* it's coming up too high is the lower wasn't assembled correctly. When you look at the bottom 1/2 of the threaded end of your receiver extension (buffer tube) you'll notice a "ramp" on the end profile, that "ramp" section is supposed to go over the outer diameter of the buffer retainer enough to hold it down lower where it doesn't contact the bolt (or bolt carrier on non blowback models) To fix this, you need to loosen the castle nut (be careful with the takedown pin detent spring that lives behind the end plate) and thread the tube in another revolution until that "ramp" retains that pin by the tapered shoulder. That buffer retainer shouldn't be able to pop out and get lost in the field during a simple field strip and the way it's assembled it's entirely possible. After that's corrected you should ensure the end plate/castle nut are staked properly so it doesn't loosen and get sloppy. hope this helps someone. My 9mm Troy was the same way, the 5.56 Troy was not, odd but probably a different persons work bench at the factory I suppose.

They ask out of concern for the child's "safety". It's nothing to do with lead poisoning. I would say most probably don't bother asking. But some definitely do. If they do ask, I would look puzzled and simply ask "What does that have to do with our visit today?" And if they persist simply say that you really aren't comfortable talking about such topics. If they still persist simply tell them this will be your last visit.

Hey Phil... you forgot to mention that. What happened to all the carnage you predicted? Fewer than 1,000 shot is a historic achievement for New Jersey (nj1015.com) Gov. Murphy and officials announce historic low in gun violence with fewest shooting victims recorded since tracking began in 2009 - WRNJ Radio

Well whaddaya know! Even with 42 or so states allowing their citizens to exercise their 2A right to defend themselves, NJ continued to insist that if law abiding citizens were allowed to carry firearms there would be blood in the streets. Nice to see there is now data proving that does not happen.

As documented elsewhere in this thread, I made two trips to Woodbine NJSP station to submit my SP182 & SP182a forms. The first attempt was stymied by a trooper spouting misinformation who refused to accept them. On my second trip, a trooper who was not on desk duty accepted the forms, and promised to get the frearms desk duty officer to call me upon his return to the office to confirm receipt. That never happened. I then sent an email to the Woodbine station firearms unit with copies of the executed forms attached, explaining the circumstances of my two attempts to drop off the physical forms, and requesting receipt confirmation. No such confirmation was received. After waiting two days, I resent that email, and added that if I did not receive a confirmation reply, I would be forced to send form copies by certified mail to Superintendent Callahan's attention in West Trenton, so that I could have confirmation that I had complied with the CCARE requirements. I copied the main NJSP firearms investigation unit (NJSP Firearms Invest Unit<[email protected]>) on that second email. This morning I received a reply from that unit, confirming me that my forms had been received, and that there was no need to send them again. So, that is what it took to get NJSP to provide a simple confirmation that I had complied with this ridiculous imposition. Gotta love Murphy, Platkin and their minions.
