  1. Thank you gents, that is what I suspected, figured couldn’t hurt to ask.
  2. I have a Wilson combat AR-15 and was looking at picking up spare parts but they don’t list the AR-15 firing pin for sale, are all firing pins created equal? Can I pick up any mil spec firing pin for it? Thanks, Marty
  3. Went out snooping around this morning, 9mm $145 200 rounds, $40 a box 380 auto, $147 200 rounds 45 auto. NO 22lr. Did also find 5.56 for $699 1k case.
  4. On the paper work you fill out there is a transaction date, when I get home I can look at my old permits and tell you exactly which date you go by, if I remember correctly it is the date your FFL puts on the permit when you pick it up. On a long gun paper work, there is only one date, it is 30 days from that date, I wait 31 days because I am anal. I have bought multiple handguns at once and had my FFL hold them until my 30 days are up and can run the NICS.
  5. My first rifle purchase was an AR-15, like you, being a new shooter I was a bit hesitant about recoil, but after taking a few shots with a friends I was hooked, took the plunge and have never looked back. You can shoot it all day. My wife who is 4’ 11” has no issues going through a mag or two with it. With the right optic that works for you, it really is an awesome tool. Cleaning and maintenance is a few minutes of your time.
  6. I’m only allowed one a month, I need something to do in between.
  7. You can open them up on an Iphone, but not a computer.
  8. I'm in Brick township, took me 4 months to the day. July-November. Just applied for three P2P the beginning of January, PD voice recording states, permits are taking 6 months.
  9. LMAO Unfortunately, .38 special is still out of reach for a billionaire.
  10. Sounds like someone knew someone that needed a job. Wouldn't surprise me in NJ.
  11. Rule of thumb is 6 weeks before you plan to transplant, you can start earlier if you can keep them lit as they grow larger. I have been planting on mothers day weekend for years. Best tomato I have had is a Rutgers Jersey Beefsteak, found them at Home depot one year and have been saving the seeds since. If you see them pick up a plant or two and save the seeds, juicy, dark center, solid meat, very little cavity, and man do they taste good. The best addition I found for my soils is the Black Kow manure from Home Depot, everything loves it, quadrupled me yield.
  12. So, the guy at the gun store was pretty much full of bull, just got the call my check came back. Rifle is ready.

    Hello!

Welcome aboard! With all this clay talk, I’m thinking I need a shotgun.
  14. They don’t list ammo online, you have to walk in.
  15. Just purchased #4 buck Saturday at shooters in south Jersey.
  16. The deceased did on his death bed in front of family, there may also have been some sort of documentation stating this also, so far it looks like there are 16 in line for inheritance, some things like beneficiaries on accounts are cut and dry, but there is property and other accounts no one is listed on, which will be grouped into the estate and distributed equally among the 16. Some of the 16 may never be found, lawyer is collecting as much info from the family we can provide to start the skip trace. Absolutely
  17. My wife's cousin recently passed away, he was an FID card holder and has two handguns, he has no immediate family only first cousins and left no will! My wife's brother is the executor of the estate and does not posses an FID card. So far he has found in the house a Smith&Wesson model 36 38 special and is still looking for a Colt 1911 commander, he did find paperwork for the .38 purchased sometime in the late 70's early 80's, to me it looks legit, purchased from an FFL, the Colt I do not know about yet, he has not found the pistol or the paper work. I searched the web but did not come up with any results for this type of scenario. My questions are, is it possible to have the pistols transferred to my wife or myself? Or, do we need to hand them in to the local PD? The .38 found is pristine, I would assume when found the Colt will be also, would hate to have to loose them. Thanks for any help.
  18. Purchased a 10-22 this morning, shop said it’s taking 14-15 days for the NICS check.
  19. I’ll take them, pm in coming.
  20. If you sell a rifle while living in NJ to someone in a free state do you need to go through an FFL being in NJ? Say, selling to someone in South Carolina? And the rifle originally being purchased in NJ.
