It ain't gonna shoot itself.

I own a P99 QA. Love the gun, hate the trigger. It's a rough, heavy pull. It's my home defense pistol, so I'm not going to mod it. A heavy trigger pull during a stessful encounter can be a good thing (won't fire unless you REALLY want it to).

Go to a range and rent a bunch of 9mm's Buy the one that is most comfortable and that you shoot the best. What's best for me is not what's best for you. Best of luck.

Totally understood and MUCH congrats on the kid! Very exciting time for you. I'm getting married in August and hopefully getting started on having a kid after. I'm trying to get all of my toy purchases in ASAP!

Thank you. If you can squeeze in another purchase, I can't recommend the PPQ enough. It felt so right.

Thanks, bud!

PPQ. Rented one today. I'm a believer. My permits can't come in fast enough. Definitely buying one in 9mm.

15 rounds at 10 yards with a rented Walther PPQ today at RTSP. Definitely buying one!

Definitely take a look at the Walther PPQ. I'm currently in the market for a new pistol, also. Rented a Glock G19 Gen4 and a PPQ at RTSP today to give them a go. I'm currently trying to get into LE, so I feel I should own at least one Glock as most departments use them. I was literally all over the Q target with the G19. I couldn't really home in with it. After 50 rounds I switched to the PPQ. The contents of the first mag didn't make a mark larger than the top of a soda can. I was amazed at how comfortable and easy to aim it was. The trigger was awesome with a very consistent take up and extremely crisp break. Enough of my rambling. In short: Give the Walther PPQ a go. By the way, I'll be purchasing both the PPQ and G19. Just because

My new Midwest PX 15/30 mags arrived today and I don't think I've ever shared photos of my AR on NJGF, so I snapped a few pictures. It started out as a stock Bushmaster XM14M4A3 and I've added the following mods/upgrades: Troy medieval muzzle brake GG&G flip up BUIS Weaver Classic Extreme 1.5-4.5x24 with illuminated reticle & dust caps LaRue SPR-E mount BCM extractor upgrade Ergo grip Shortened buffer tube Sadly, I haven't shot it in a long time. Looking forward to getting it out to GFH soon.

I run a Weaver Classic Extreme 1.5-4.5 on a Larue quick release mount and it kicks all kinds of ass.

I definitely recommend rescuing a dog. Do a bit a research so you know which breeds to consider, go out there, and save a life!

Auto darkening helmets can be had for super cheap at Harbor Freight. Been using one from there for about 2 years now with no issues.
