  1. Last time I was at Tip's Hardware they had a tremendous number, both new and old, but that was a few months ago. Any been lately? I was at Tip's a couple of weeks ago and they did have a large amount of black rifles in stock. In addition, there were three M1A's (SOCOM, National Match, and Scout)
  2. If your Bushmaster pinned stock is like all of the others I have seen it is uses a full length buffer tube. The full length ACE stock uses the full length buffer tube.
  3. Maybe, why? Haha, that's a curious thing to ask. I was USMC, bayonet is still taught at the School Of Infantry.
  4. Shouldn't they stay in their homes and defend them? +1000
  5. +1, Butch's is a good place with good prices.
  6. the thing about the 308 is this.. in a purely hypothetical SHTF situation where im shooting at an "enemy" the 223 may take several shots to neutralize a target behind very light cover, where as the 308 will stop someone hiding behind something as solid as a car door.. lol so while i may not be able to physically carry as much.. i feel like i can count on one hit stops with the 308, where in some situations it may take several shots with a 223... NO i would not want to get shot with a 223 (before someone asks ) but i would not want to get shot with a 22 either.. There are loads of people that have survived .30 cal wounds throughout history. Counting on caliber vs. stopping hit (CNS) is a mistake IMO.
  7. correct me if i am wrong, but doesnt anyone selling ammo to NJ people would have to have FID's and such? so maybe he just doesnt want to deal with collecting those, esp since he is making bank on selling to out of state folks. Ammoman has photocopied my information. Haven't been there in about two years. I have found that the NJ "discount" is arbitrary ($20 off some cases, $10 off others) and makes it not worth the time spent traveling after you factor in sales tax.
  8. Forgot to add that the butt stock cannot be adjustable and would have to be pinned to be NJ compliant.
  9. I believe that the OP was asking about Saiga rifle. If this is the case, then you should be fine as long as you are in compliance with 18 U.S.C. Sec. 922® of the Gun Control Act of 1968. Be sure to keep the foreign made part count correct (no more than 10).
  10. I bought a few of the C-Product lanced magazines. They are well made and work fine. The only problem I had was waiting about six weeks for them.
  11. Yes, That's what I used. Florida turn around is pretty quick, 5 weeks after submitting paperwork I had my ID card. Everyone should get one if for no other reason than its signed by Charles Bronson +100 on that. I got mine a few years ago in less than 1 month.
  12. All Browning shotguns I have handled/fired have outstanding. In my opinion/experience, they are really well made.
  13. An AR with iron sights and good fundamentals/training can be very good at 500m (man sized target center mass). This is easy from the prone position compared to 200m standing.
  14. I have one in .357 and love it. They are built like a tank. I use it to test my reloads.
  15. Toms River is very North Jersey to us
  16. I think #6 shot would make an awful mess at home defense distances.
  17. $70 per 1K is crazy. I am in Anchorage, AK right now. Just went to Sportsman's Warehouse and they were around $40 per 1K in stock for all sizes.
  18. He is my current atourney.. Sorry, missed the "agressive" requirement...
  19. I have used Butensky in town for a closing and a deed consolidation.
  20. I believe that all Marlin did to the Model 60 was change the follower. You may be able to install a new follower that will reduce the capacity.
