Not to long ago there was a large string of car break in's (including my GF's father's car) which was located in a nice part of monmouth county. They ended up finding the kid but didn't charge him (or make him repay the money stolen) because his home situtation was bad, aka mommy didn't love him....what a load of NJ BS.

Never going to happen, there is only a hand full of anti-gun states vs the vast majority of the USA being pro-gun. As mentioned, expect LARGE riots and the political fall of democrats and since politicians only care about votes, don't expect that to happen anytime soon.

I thought my rem. 597 was bad. I was getting at least 1-3 FTF s per 10 round clip, at least 1 stovepipe, and multiple feed jams. In a 10 round clip, I might get 2 or 3 good shoots in a row, it was pathetic. Right before I was going to send my rifle back, I decided to try some CCI .22 ammo and low and behold, not ONE ftf after over 200 rounds, only 1 stovepipe, and 1 feed jam (I was shooting in about 10F outside, seemed to affect the ammo). Ditch that golden bullet crap

As the title says, just bought a ruger MK III from SS. I was kind of against the ruger because I never really liked the look of it (plus the horror stories of disassembly / reassembly) but I bought it anyway. I took it apart and reassembled it the other day and learned what the fuss was about. My GOD are the tolerences tight on this friggen gun. I had to beat it non stop with a rubber mallet to take any peice of it apart. However, 3 hours later I was done hah. I just brought it to BA the other day and man I'm impressed. Using CCI ammo, this gun is damn accurate and so fun to shoot! Anyway, if you guys want a great rimfire pistol, the Mk III is a winner

Our constitution specifically states we have a right to "bear" arms. Though some states (NJ / CA / MA) dispute what bear actually means, there have been numerous rulings that the government cannot just take guns from your homes. Don't you think your being a little paranoid? Bust out the tin foil hat?

Took apart my new mk III the other day to clean off all the oil it ships with (damn there was a lot!). Getting that friggen pin thing back into the barrel...OMFG. Took me about 2 hours getting it in. Finally gave up and beat the crap outta it with a rubber mallet before it went back into place. NEVER again hah

100,000 XD owners disagree. My guess is more glock owners disagree to the XD owners disagreeance... I love my G34, the only thing I would like to add to it (dare I say) is a external safety. I know it can't fire without pulling the trigger but I'm still uneasy about it regardless.

Fingers crossed! Most states allow CCW so maybe there is a chance in hell of this passing. Does this bill give us the right to carry in NJ? With NJ being "may" issue and the wording seems to support non-residents, I guess this will only be a step in the right direction?
