  1. you had me all hopeful there for a second, Paul...
  2. I've posted a similar response on a different forum. My vehicles have no stickers, save the Mazda 3 that has a much washed out sticker proclaiming that "i 'heart' my munchkin" - with two child seats in each car, the meaning of the statement is pretty obvious. If pulled over, either the Mazda 3 or the minivan are unlikely to signal "contraband inside!" to any LEO or "expensive stuff inside" to any criminal. they would only signal "parent of young children"

  8. I might just get that printed on a t-shirt.... Don, do you know if anyone's got rights to that picture?
  9. I dunno what you guys are talking about Efinger's. Sure, they're not the friendliest bend over backwards guys, but helpful enough, I guess. I've found them to be polite whenever I've stopped by - maybe it's because I always go in the morning, before they got all annoyed by the local mall ninjas. and they do have local competition - Lou's Gun Shop in Raritan.
  10. I'm waiting for Bumbleberg to create "Mayors against kitchen knives"

  15. I've been loving this thread so far... Ray - you're like our resident domesticated Troll you and Glenn but seriously, no this thread doesn't make you a troll. You've been on the forum for a while and most people have come to know you and many have met you. What we sometimes get on here is spambots that wiggle through. They usually post something in horrible English, usually in the middle of someone's "Introduction" thread and end it with a link to some spammy site. like this: I likes very much rifles of big calibers. Want to be helping to the forum. Please look. link to spammy site not let's fill the rest of this thread with troll-like comments: ARs suck!
  16. this I agree with. I was watching with the Mrs. and I said to her "why don't they just sing it like an anthem, not like some ballad" there's no need for the wails and the screeching! Makes me sick.
  17. If I was home, I wouldn't. She was home alone and she's likely to panic and forget the code or something (I know my wife) if something were to happen. The safe I meant is well hidden and not at all in plain view (but accessible) - it's only got one pistol in it. Everything else is locked up in a different location, not easily accessible. Good advice though, thanks.
  18. ok, so I was wondering if there would be a thread about this on NJGF ... and there is. I was at work. my wife calls me: there are helicopters hovering over our house. Mind you, behind the small patch of woods in the back of Wegman's is my house! The wife went online - there was a shooting at the shopping plaza. at this point, no one knew anything. I told her: honey, go to the gun safe and open it - and keep it open. I was freaking out at work thinking if I should just leave - then she called me back and told me it's all over - the shooter is dead. This is so weird. I've been in that store looking for gifts for my wife. They were very nice people. So sad...
