  1. Total gear head. Enjoy computers and new age technology. I love r/c's, electric and gas. From on road to off road to flight. I have on-road scale cars, corr trucks, helicopters and planes. I can't really do much with the hobby during the winter tho. Last winter i put together a $1000 f-16 electric jet, and i never got the time or balls to fly it, so this year i just put the money towards guns and ammo as i thought i didn't need another shelf queen. I just started getting into firearms, but im sure in no time i will be just a guru savvy. I'm mechanically inclined to say the least, i fixed my snow blower this year(thank god) with no experience working on such machines. But then again gas r/c's work pretty much the same. I dunno tho, u can find most of the do it your self stuff online now, so i would have to give credit to the fact that i find out how to do a lot of stuff online.
  2. I actually bought the 20rd just to try, the prices around here in stores is just absurd. Thanks for the link, i like the ammo so i guess it's time to buy some more, and not get ripped off in the process. The federal AE ammo i buy i get for 200 per 1000 in fmj. in the stores around here same box goes for $15.99 per 50. I can't even walk into a store and buy ammo with out over paying, the interwebs does us good tho.
  3. There's no way in hell i could effectively move through my house with a shotgun and be able to pull the trigger at a moments notice. Maybe with lot's and lot's of practice, but for me a handgun is a much better option. Some guys can just handle a shotgun in a SD situation, some prefer something more manageable. I personally use Federal 9mm Hydra-shok JHP. I paid about 1$ a round.
  4. Excellent choice!! Love my m9a1, just like every one said the 92 mags are all interchangeable. I actually took the coated ones that came with it and put them aside and bought some of the regular 92 mags that i use. There my SHTF mags since there coated to keep crap out of the mag well, dont need them for the range and it would be a waste since there kinda expensive.
  5. I was interning down in Edison for 2 summers, commuting from northern bergen county, that was hell. Most days it took 2 hours to go 60miles. Some days i did the commute with my dad, but most of the time i did myself. When he retired last year, the most wear on his body and mind he said was purely from the commute, he said he would have worked another couple years if it wasnt for it. 4 hours a day in car def. takes it toll.
  6. I was actually wondering the other day how that worked. lol thanks.
  7. I guess it depends on the size you decide to put on your AR. A small set a balls aint exactly saying much.
  8. Hahaha, you could practice your bayo skills on your girl.
  9. Haha I happen to enjoy the truck nuts(chain and balls), but not the realistic looking ones like theses.. eeps. Too graphic for me, i mean leave something to the imagination geese.
  10. The problem is... global warming is immediately followed by global freezing. If you've seen a climate map of the past 100million years it would be evident that there are many trends, globe warms then freezes, the warming is slow, followed by an extreme ice age, and then slowly warms again. Al gore has never seen such a map, and probably doesnt know we have dated global temperatures and CO2 levels for the past millions of years. I can't even begin to explain how hard it is to test global warming, the variables are so extreme, and the global trends make it even harder to follow. Al gore doesnt know what science is, it just that simple, he likes to think what he observes is the truth, any schmuck bag can do that. It's funny, the people who do all the research back the stance that we dont have enough info to make a decision, but all these idiots who read there findings don't think twice about claiming global warming.
  11. Well to spark some intelligent discussion one cannot say nor cannot deny the fact that global warming is the cause. Any real person in science will say this. The problem we're facing with the weather is that the oceans A and P are colder then normal. Sparking what should be rain, to turn into snow. The reason why can be theorized, the pacific is an iceberg dump, lots of ice melting into it, so that could be one for global warming. But on the other side, the atlantic is seeing this fall in temperature as well. Which is actually the opposite of global warming since the water flows up from gulf stream, Nothing to melt there. So for one to stand up and say it must be global warming, you must be an idiot, and truly ignorant to any type of science.
  12. I still wanna know what law this kid broke, or haha i mean is being charged with...those two don't go hand in hand around here lately.
  13. I'm still trying to figure out what law he broke. I can understand schools policy but he being charged with something. This is kinda sickening.
  14. better yet, just get a bucket with a lid, and put MAIL BOX on it, and put by the curb.
  15. That's right i believe they have a wharehouse in edison, however, they will still ship u items from cali..
  16. You can, i would be very discrete or ship it directly to your smith of choice. I dont know your area, but make sure they will do the mods before it ships.
  17. Why the hell are these things even able to make there way near a Bill for the FAA, relevance please?
  18. Microcenter on rt 20 is pretty good. You can walk around pick out what ever you want and they will put it together. There prices are pretty good almost comparable to newegg. I would however, find a reliable person to do it for you, you have no idea how many contractors are in the computer business. I build comps for friends, configure networks, fix them, u name it. On there end they get someone who knows what there doing, and is relatively available, and i can make a few bucks and keep my friends happy. Now at the same time, some of it is soo easy and basic. I mean all you need to do is plug this and that in, boot and install. The real issue comes up when you use componets that arent configured to work together, and it can be a hassle. I know it took me about 2 hours to figure out why my SATA drive wouldn't read when i did a build a few years ago, the bios wasn't set to read SATA, and you needed a bios program to read it, which would only read from a floppy disk . this was one of those boards that still had a Ribbon on it!man times are changing fast. I also had a friend buy a new router and xbox live kept dropping every 10mins and denying service, a few clicks of a button later and it was fixed. Best way to reduce sound is to remove the mesh on the case that protects the fan, better airflow at reduced speeds. I think i have 7 fans in my computer total including the VGA and processor. I have two dedicated fans improve airflow over the pci-e area, but there smaller and run slow.. I burnt my last video card up playing crisis, that wont happen again!
  19. I was gonna say the samething, what a waste of production. Actually i though he was referencing dumb and dumber.
  20. Oh man that's funny, the plows wrecked my mailbox on the first storm, so it just sits on the snow bank now, we can adjust it much better this way for the mailman...HA! If you don't want to move the snow, just move the mailbox, when it melts, mount it back up... Or buy a cheap plastic one for the winter. Honestly, where do they expect you to put the snow in front of the mailbox? back in the street? It's not like you have the ability to just throw the snow behind it, not when the banks around here are at 5+feet, my snowblower cant even move anymore snow at the end of my drive way, it just shoots into the bank and falls right back into the driveway, pretty soon the only place it can go is the street.
  21. Around 33F light feezing drizzle. Had to shovel out the end of the driveway, damn that Sh8T was heavy. Still have about 2 feet worth of snow on my lawn and 3 feet where its been getting piled up. It's getting to the point where, if we get any more snow, i really might run out of room to put it.
  22. Ya know there is a huge difference in oil(lipids) and oil(minerals) Hey EPA..Don't cry over spilled milk.
  23. I do believe you are correct. I'm not sure when he can bring them to NJ tho, maybe some one can clarify that.
  24. They keep playing re-runs, but that monkey guy is pretty sick too!
