  1. If by "gun license" you mean an FID card or pistol purchase permit, then no.
  2. NJ doesn't register long guns bought in NJ either.
  3. Sure, you can file a lawsuit in federal court against the state of NJ. Some possible avenues to try: - They are violating your 2A rights. - They are restricting interstate commerce. Good luck, we're all rooting for you.
  4. If it's permitted by ordinance, it hard for them (but not impossible) for them to deny you.
  5. This is fairly common on Argy's, they did it at the arsenal before sellling them off.
  6. You need to look at what are the permitted uses for the "light" industrial zone in your town are. If it allows retail sales and doesn't specifically prohibit firearms stores, you should be OK. If it doesn't allow retail sales, you'll need a variance.
  7. That's because PA residents use the automated system, the dealer doesn't even talk to a person. Out of state residents must use an operator.
  8. They are legal to own if you have an FID, but as Bob said, firing it is the grey area.
  9. Most M 38s are counter bored. I know a distributor who imported 100 of them, only 2 or 3 weren't counter bored. One of them is sitting in my safe.
  10. IDK since they aren't legal here, but it would be less than a Garand since generally they sell for less than Garands.
  11. Stay away from this dealer.....he's a fraud. Unfired Garands sell for $8-$10K. No way he would sell one for $1500.
  12. And how much did he want for the alleged unfired Garands?
  13. Or the seller could drop them off at a NJ FFL if they're close to NJ.
  14. If you buy a used gun from a person and then resell it, you as a dealer must collect sales tax on that gun even though it was most likely taxed when it was sold new. If it's a taxable product, the buyer is obligated to pay use tax on the item if they didn't pay sales tax on it when they bought it. That being said, almost nobody does.
  15. Maybe we can hire him to do a "Privet investigation" of the Assembly Democrats and see what kind dirt he can dig up on them, could come in useful for our candidates running against them.
  16. Only if the NICS check is for a handgun exemption, otherwise the dealer doesn't give any specifics at the time of the NICS check.
  17. Under ATF rules, you can be a resident of two states for gun buying purposes. Not 100% sure on NFA items, but everything else that is legal in that state can be purchased by a dual resident while they are residing in the other state.
  18. As Tom said, you cannot push lead boolits as fast as jacketed. Also you cannot shoot them out of polygonal barrels. If your going to cast, you'll also need to size and lube the boolits. This is done most effectively with a lubersizer press and dies.
  19. Does your town collect the $2 per permit when you pick them up? Mine wants that paid when you apply, and they do take cash for the permits.
