Lol, not at all, especially after I saw someone listing Federal bulk 525 boxes on here for $70 each.

While I do agree that you should be proficient (sp?) with irons first, one of the reasons I bought a PA micro was to see if I liked that style red dot before I dropped the $400+ on an Aimpoint (still havent bought an Aimpoint). While the PA is a good sight for the money I wouldnt depend on it in a situation where your/others life my depend on it (SHTF, HD, etc) it may hold up or it might s**t the bed when you need it most, but for a fun/range/plinker Id get another one.

+1 on putting one together, its real easy and all you really need is some basic tools (screwdriver, hammer & punch set). The first one I did took me about an hour to do and that was taking my time and double checking that I wasnt messing anything up. Now I can do it in less than 30min easy. The other upside about building one is that you get to pick what parts you use, instead of buying a complete rifle and then spending more money changing things to what you want (grips, handguards/rails, sights, stock, etc)

I just happened to check gunbot and saw it was in stock. Was definately pure luck, right place, right time. Even worse was looking back through my order history @ Cabelas and seeing that back in 2011 I picked up 1875rds of federal for the same exact price as this stuff.

I just checked and I got the same email too. Said it was backordered and due to arrive @ Cabelas 5/25. No big deal, I have a few thousand rounds stashed away still.

Hoppes #9 for cleaning, Slip 2000 EWL for oil, some patches, couple old t-shirts and an old toothbrush or 2. Pistols get cleaned after every range trip, stripped, wiped down and scrubbed, then re-oiled. The AR might get 1-2 wet patches run down the bore followed by 1 dry one, then re-oiled, but thats it, Ive never fully cleaned it.

Even tested by seals, lol

Cant go wrong with a 1911 in .45, and then get a .22 conversion kit for it and have the best of both worlds

X2 on the Mossberg 500 or Remington 870. I perfer the Mossberg 500 personally, the safety on top of the 500, instead of underneath with the 870 is also a big plus in my book. But thats just my .02

They are a great company and Ive bought lots of stuff from them.........But they dont even list either of the rails the OP was looking for. AIM has the Bravo rail in stock and they have free shipping on it as well.

Their shipping prices are insane, I was going to grab 2 cans for my dad but saw that they wanted $65 to ship 2 cans! Got 2 cans from SGammo about 2 weeks ago for the same price per can but shipping was only $25. IMO wait until Sgammo or AIM get them back in stock.

That would be my thoughts as well. I think its mostly a cosmetic thing, or for people living in America that can put a suppressor on it.
