  1. I can't wait to go to this Rally. I'm not happy living my life in a cage. My only child won't visit for fear of killing me or his mother. I'm at my wits' end and if I'm to die over this, then so be it & hurry it the fuck up! But I'm goin' down swingin'! Just need to go on the computer & make my own Press Pass just in case I feel like gettin' thrown-out of the Gov-na's Press Conference
  2. BUMP! And thanks John for all you do for us! @Bklynracer Rosey EBAY AUCTION A UNIQUE FUNDRAISER FOR CNJFO! BID NOW ON SIGNED COPY OF "DECISION POINTS"! by Black Wire Media Wed. April 22, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us CNJFO member John Nacinovich is a bookworm with a huge heart. He's come up with a unique way to donate funds to the Coalition without going "out-of-pocket" during these uncertain times. He's running a Book Auction on Ebay with all of the proceeds being donated to CNJFO. The auction runs for 7 more days, so start bidding! To view the auction and bid visit: https://www.ebay.com/itm/114192769049 . This second offering is an autographed copy of President George W. Bush's, "Decision Points". Nacinovich, a logistics expert for a construction company specializing in commercial building concrete footing, has two boys in college and wanted to come up with a way to donate much needed funds to charities, and CNJFO specifically. He donated the proceeds of his first auction-fundraiser February 29th. The buyer pays Nacinovich and he uses his credit card to forward all proceeds to us. A member of New Jersey Gun Forums, his first book auction was held strictly on that gun board. We're nationally advertising this second one to our entire readership in hopes that knowing the proceeds will benefit our 2nd Amendment mission, folks will bid it up more aggressively. Courtesy S&H is available to NJ Gun Forums members. Here's the link to the current NJ Gun Forums thread: https://www.njgunforums.com/forum/index.php… ------------------------------------------------------------------- "I took the books from the garage so it's money I never really had that I can donate. What do others have sitting around that they no longer need? Maybe they can do a similar auction?" ---John Nacinovich ------------------------------------------------------------------ The Brooklyn Dodger fan owns JAJ online bookstore, having amassed a vast collection he started buying & selling in 1998 as a hobby. Now in garage storage and strictly a "side-gig", 90% of his autographed collection he stood in line for himself so he guarantees all signatures are legit! He has a 100% percent sales rating. Brooklyn native Nacinovich, 57, has always had an interest in firearms but with disapproving parents, running businesses, starting a family, etc., he started owning firearms 15 years ago. A Beretta 92 hand gun fan, he is a member at Reloaderz NJ on Rt. 23 in Wayne, NJ, ( where he signed-up as a CNJFO member during a special event held at the range). Nacinovich also shoots skeet and trap. EDITOR's NOTE: We applaud John Nacinovich's unique approach to supplementing our benefactors' monthly giving, and encourage others with too much "stuff" on their hands to do the same.
  3. There are no commercial ranges fully constructed (and have passed inspections prior to Covid-19) in Middlesex County. Without knowing where in the county you are, I can only tell you that several exist out of county. Inside Middlesex County you have Union Hill Gun Club on Union Hill Road in Monroe Twp. close to the Manalapan border. They host R.O.C. Training in their range building, and are a private shooting club. Legend Firearms (FFL) is also housed under the same roof. Additionally, once you're comfortable with firearms, the Old Bridge Rifle & Pistol Club offers extensive opportunities with all 3 popular shooting platforms (rifle, pistol, shotgun), utilizing both indoor and outdoor range facilities. Their shooting leagues will make you a better shooter be it on paper, steel or clay bird! A very unique offering and the only one of its kind in Middlesex County. If I can be of any further assistance, do not hesitate to tag me. Rosey
  4. I had to cook dinner & ya beat me to it, lol! Greenday is the type of character to put cheap, useless, we-have-so-much-we-can-burn-it-anywhere gasoline in a camp stove & then blame Trump when he burns-down the entire campground
  5. The Germans bombed Pearl harbor! LOL, a Quad .50 for a drone. I couldn't afford to feed the thing! When this is over we gotta plan that drink
  6. I enjoy these up to the point the narrator nit-pics on procedure & timing. You can't train for that much adrenaline. Mind you this guy always raises valid points, but somehow he still manages to rub me the wrong way. Using your weak hand for a clear shot is better than using your strong hand to shoot thru a windshield IF you've had enough training. Making blanket statements about MY abilities to shoot weak handed has often lead to embarrassment of the person making those comments when targets are scored Nothing is ever perfect. For in a perfect world, the black & whites would have just chased him until the Helo could open-up with a minigun! ~R
  7. @Zeke Thanks for the tag. I will try this recipe and make some adjustments / modifications to suit Mrs. Rosey's discerning palette. Some observations (after reading the entire thread & watchin' that great video) in no particular order: Video has the chopped meat fat percentage all over the place. From 70% to 88% beef. That's wrong for a number of reasons. This is too extreme a variable and could result in a grease fire, especially if the coals are too close to the molds. Obviously how dry or juicy the end result IS depends on a number of factors including fat content of the meat, how "wet" the veggies are, how much veggies you use, how much cheese is used, etc., etc. Using 85% or 88% ground beef will help prevent shrinkage from fat loss. Perhaps that's why they used 88%(?) in the video? Too much shrinkage would / could make the end result fall apart... My personal favorite blend for custom hamburgers is Pat LaFrieda's original recipe of chuck, short rib & brisket in a 70 / 30 blend. Shop Rite sells them pre-made, 4 to a pkg. and weighing 1/3 pound each. The Plant is in North Bergen, NJ so you're keepin' Jersey people employed The Rosey Burger made on Rosey's Little Webber charcoal grill: Kosher salt one side and place on grill salted side down. Cook uncovered (NO lid)! 4 min. later flip & douse the salted side with Worcestershire sauce. Wait 5 min. then cheese & cover for 30 sec. to melt cheese. Comes out medium rare in the middle, but with a well-done texture on both sides. Flames lick-up on dripping fat. Done properly, when plated some reddish juice will escape during the rest. We like fried onions, ketchup, and a slice of Jersey beefsteak tomato (in-season) along with a potato bun. The simple flavor comes through and the texture is exquisite. Nothing overpowers. If pan fried onion scares you, try Vidalia onion instead of yellow (Spanish) onion. When you go to a high-falutin' restaurant with linen service and spend $15-$20 on a burger, chances are it's a Pat LaFrieda. They have house accounts all over Jersey & NYC. Each account can modify a specific blend to suit their Executive Chef's taste! For a mouth-waterin' peek, visit: https://www.lafrieda.com Rosey Back to the video: Creative video editing? Did anyone clean the cutting board after the raw chopped meat was on it OR were they too busy drinkin' the Yuengling? Did anyone clean the spatula after it was knocked onto the ground?

  9. Hi, I'll be the first "Expert". There's nuthin' to break-down, thank God! It's self-explanatory, and a great ad for Nappen. Dude is a security guard lookin' for a carry permit for the job. In the same town btw as the viral story of the Brinks Armored Car security guard gettin' jammed-up one block from his residence. Justifiable Need is still alive & well, so you're carry permit application gets granted when you're DEAD, just like before I'm just thankful it went the way it did so no bad precedents were set in court that might derail all of the hard work that real #2AHeavyLifters like Cheeseman, Factor, Schmutter, Bach, Colandro & myself have thus far accomplished. ~R
  10. OBR&PC has been "worth it" since you first asked on this forum, over 2 years ago, and then thumbed your nose at it. There's a LOT more to shooting than standing in a port...
  11. If you're still a member you've received a couple emails from the Board of Trustees, including one from today. Check your spam folder. Rosey
  12. Nice piece of history ya got there! You already have an interwebs idea as to value. Now you need a real appraisal by an expert that can see & handle the piece. Anyone else that says otherwise is a BS artist. Missing parts will obviously hurt value. Plus other side could be scratched-up & completely rusted? Full detailed close-ups of 360* are required for a best guess w/o holding it in your own two hands. Good luck with the sale & hope it finds a happy home where someone will treasure it! Rosey
  13. Contact your local range in your avatar & ask to be put on their email list. Register for free to get ANJRPC news alerts. Register for free to get CNJFO news alerts. Short answer: No, you must be new, lol! ~R
  14. Yes to both of your points. Also, how about using a capital "P" for our President, lol? He deserves as much respect as Acosta & Roubian...
  15. It's all about "standing", which he has established with video evidence. Once it's established, the wrong has already been committed. He doesn't need "X" number of "counts" like a criminal case where every drug sale to an undercover is a separate count. Even if he did show-up everyday, God forbid they let him IN, it MOOTS his case, so....damn if ya do & damn if ya don't! I totally get where you're coming from. Dancing on the head of a pin ain't easy. ~R
  16. No surprise here. He's banned for life. Or until the next Governor allows him in. OR until he sues his way back in (has THAT actually EVER happened?). All of which takes TIME! He might as well just stay home & not even try. Maybe it's time for someone else in NJ2AS to try to attend the Press Conferences?
  17. ^^^From your keyboard to God's ears! One step at a time. One day at a time. While trying to do the best I can for my family, my first priority 15-20 hours a day is what it takes now. Every so often I need a break. Tomorrow is another day! Rosey
  18. Ummmmmmmmm, not exactly, lol! I broke the story last month on March 31st. With an interview of a teacher who's parents live in Toms River and were turned-away. Then I called IdentoGo on April 1st at 9:10am & spoke to an employee, who I then quoted in my follow-up story that same day using it to intro the original March 31st story. Even as I typed & broke the story, folks that already had confirmed appointments at SOME locations were allowed to complete their application requirements on March 31st. April 1st the system was completely shutdown statewide, and we broke THAT part of the story too. Anytime you want to see what we're doing, and how news gets reported, feel free to take a gander at our blog, as John Petrolino works diligently on posting our articles from our entire writing staff! https://www.cnjfo.com/news FIREARMS FINGERPRINTING AT A STANDSTILL! NEW PEOPLE GETTING COMPLETE RUN-AROUND! by Black Wire Media Tues. March 31, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us While folks who went through the "NJ meat grinder" that is the firearm permitting process these past weeks to get their firearms permits in-hand and then go back to the store celebrating the NICS portal being turned back on this morning, there remains a HUGE, little-known problem here in NJ with firearms fingerprinting for all new applications! THERE ISN'T ANY! At least not in the Toms River, NJ area! We have first-person interviewed Christina, a CNJFO supporter, NJ teacher & firearms owner, who's parents in their mid to late 50's, have decided that NOW is the time to get serious about self-protection! Here's the UGLY truth! Christina's parents live in Toms River, NJ and right now Toms River is only accepting online electronic firearms applications through the new FARS system. When reached today, IdentoGo, the company hired by the state of NJ to provide fingerprinting services for firearms applicants, told Christina, "IdentoGo employees can no longer access their own software to enter fingerprints for firearms into the system". IdentoGo further stated, "NO FINGERPRINTING FOR FIREARMS IS ALLOWED!". ------------------------------------------------------------------------ "My parents are in righteous FEAR that something will happen to them, that they'll be attacked, that a HOME INVASION may happen! What can I do, I live 2 HOURS away!" ---Christina ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Without new applicants being able to submit fingerprints, the entire application process is but a farce. The online FARS system isn't providing a solution as of yet, and Christina is worried. Guess who IdentoGo takes their marching orders from? You guessed it, NJ Governor Phil Murphy, 2nd Amendment hater extraordinaire! Was this an "oversight" to not remind IdentoGo that they can once again accept fingerprint requests from firearms permit applicants OR was this a deliberate attempt to impede the flow of guns into new gun owners hands? We'll leave that to our readers...
  19. @Zeke WOW, yep that makes sense. When nobody buys his bullshit as Character #1, he jumps into a phone booth & emerges as Character #2. Problem is it's always DEEP legal questions regarding skirting NJ law and doing it with such low post counts. It's his M.O. Most "normal" people lurk, like a few posts themselves, say a few things to build a post count, then post easy shit like "9 or .45?". Not this heavy-duty, hair-splitting, legal, "how can I get over" BS.
  20. GIVE ME RECTUMS WITH MY MASHED POTATOES! Such hair-splitting bullshit. You people must have taken lessons from ME, lol! Conflating voting laws with firearms laws and tax liability laws all rolled into one. You people confuse yourselves. Like lookin' for permission to breathe AIR, you ain't gonna find it in the 2C statutes OR in the orange Bible. @45Doll is livin' the dream. He's the expert about this shit cause he already did it, is doin' it and will continue to do it! I've covered this several times throughout the years, Pity it's so hard to use the library of those thousands of posts of mine, @Zeke and others. Nappen will tell you to use a crosswalk & look both ways. Then you'll get a bill. In NJ there is no designation of what a residence IS within the firearms statutes. 2 days, 2 months or 20 years. You don't need to own or rent to make residence in another state. You could just be living there rent-free in the basement! All that's required is some DNA on a toothbrush! Gee that couch folds-out! Can I pay the cable bill Uncle Steve? Do I have metadata on my phone with a Facebook live video shot on Uncle Steve's couch with myself in pajamas? These & other hair-splitting scenarios are plentiful. Now let's get to the brass tacks! As they say "at the end of the day....." The kid wants to buy guns in Florida with a denial hanging over his head. He doesn't know why he was denied & never got or responded to the denial. Choir Boy or Rapist? Who here knows for sure? Maybe his name popped up on the radar screen and he was denied because his name matches a scumbag's? And maybe the Cops never checked further for address, town, age, social security number, etc.? Don't laugh, a member of this forum has been thru that shit already! Or. or, or....could it be a troll from Mom's Demand? Why stop at only 2 residences? When applying deep thinking, in regards to NJ firearms, one must always play "Pretend". You need to pretend you own 3-4 residences within NJ (like SOME do) and then try to apply the EXEMPTIONS. Then see where you come out. THEN PRETEND you live in another state AND you're a nationally-ranked competitive shooter that attends matches throughout this state AND the country. Meaning: IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU OR YOUR SMALL WORLD! Maybe THEN some of you will STOP with the "You need a NJFPID card to own & transport" firearms into & out of NJ??? In essence, you have to remove yourself & your personal situation from the equation when answering firearms questions regarding the convoluted, vague, and often juxtaposed firearms statutes. I've been busy. Does anyone here know that NJSP shut-down new fingerprint for firearms??? https://www.cnjfo.com/news Rosey
  21. Kevin, Ever since Ammoland contributor, NJ resident, Merchant Marine & soon-to-be CNJFO Life Member John Petrolino joined our all-volunteer writing staff, he asked to be tasked with re-posting almost every story we post to Facebook to the CNJFO "Black Wire Blog" seen HERE: https://www.cnjfo.com/news . When he's aboard ship it takes him a day or two to catch-up with what we post, so give him some time for today's stories. Each story is assigned its own unique web-page, and the blog now contains stories at least as far back as November, when I wrote about Neal DeBennedetto, the Lacey HS student given a 40-day out of school suspension for a fashion accessory known as a "bullet belt" which HE NEVER WORE IN SCHOOL! After you "catch-up", I'd suggest a daily visit to the Black Wire Blog to stay CURRENT! FWIW: We keep our emails to a minimum so as to not bother people on a daily or weekly basis. And for those actually on Facebook, you get it as soon as it's published by LIKING OUR PAGE: https://www.facebook.com/cnjfo Enjoy catching-up & stay healthy! Thanks again for your steadfast support! Rosey
  22. @Mrs. Peel You ain't missin' a thing! What SOME people with a chip on their shoulders for the NRA are missing is the fluidity and fast response of Dan Schmutter & the DC lawyerin' crew for ANJRPC to take the Governor's smug reaction & flippant comments to Roubian (the Reporter mentioned in the NRA Instagram that 250K followers already viewed) and USE IT IN THEIR SUIT! Here's a very fair overview of what's going on, published just this morning, prior to picking-up my GFH Goody Bags from Colandro: NJ STATE NRA ASSOC. FILES MOTION ON NICS! ANJRPC PILES-ON WITH A 3RD FED. LAWSUIT! by Black Wire Media Friday Mar. 27, 2020 www.cnjfo.com/join-us In a legal maneuver resembling a one-two punch, the Association of New Jersey Rifle & Pistol Clubs (ANJRPC) responded with their own lawsuit ( https://cdn.ymaws.com/…/legal_…/anjrpc_sues_nj_complaint.pdf ) challenging the entire shutdown of the background check system portal the State Police have (needlessly) run for years. Using an Executive Order on COVID-19 as a false front, our Governor's answer to "the Reporter", then smirking about it at a press conference with his arms crossed when called-out on it by NJ2AS's Alex Roubian, our state NRA Association (ANJRPC) did then use the Governor's own remarks to Roubian as part of their suit: "Governor Murphy has even admitted that his assault on the Second Amendment was motivated by his hatred of guns, not by safety concerns about Coronavirus. When asked just yesterday by a reporter why he didn’t deem gun stores to be “essential,” he stated “a safer society for my taste has fewer guns and not more guns.” He said nothing about Coronavirus, which is apparently just a pretext for shutting down the Second Amendment." ---ANJRPC official statement In addition to the lawsuits piling-up over the NICS portal shutdown ---the national NICS is still fully functional btw--- our state NRA Association did file a "PLAINTIFFS’ BRIEF IN SUPPORT OF THEIR MOTION FOR A TEMPORARY RESTRAINING ORDER AND/OR PRELIMINARY INJUNCTION". This vitally important document seeks "injunctive RELIEF" (rather IMMEDIATE!) and can be read here: https://cdn.ymaws.com/…/lega…/anjrpc_sues_nj_legal_brief.pdf The Second Amendment Foundation spearheaded a lawsuit against the NICS shutdown, filing it yesterday with multiple plaintiffs including CNJFO sponsor Legacy Indoor Range and Armory, Legend Firearms, Robert Kashinsky and other individuals, Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) and NJ2AS. It can be viewed here: https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/track… When reached for comment, Melissa Deeney, co-owner of Plaintiff Legacy Indoor Range & Armory in Cinnaminson, NJ had this to say: "I'm happy to see so many suits aligned against this blatant attack on our 2A rights. The most upsetting part for me personally is the first time buyers. They have been vetted by the state, have their FID (after usually months) and permits - and we cannot help them. All the state has to do is let us use the Federal System directly or allow the NICS State team to work remotely. Instead they shut down the ability to submit new checks. Our entire queue (customer list of transfers awaiting approvals--Ed.) of Friday (3/20) and Saturday (3/21) work was warned that they may not come back before the anticipated shut down. They are all in limbo. The one that upsets me the most is a woman who came in for her first purchase... Fear is palpable... She still can't have her firearm because the state shut NICS down at the state level." ---Melissa Deeney, Legacy Indoor Range & Armory As more news breaks we'll be sure to give it to you, as always with our expert analysis & opinion. ---The Editors A very good friend of mine who happens to volunteer for the NJ women of The DC Project, Legacy Indoor Range & Armory FFL Melissa Deeney's quote is also made bold. Legacy is a co-Plaintiff on the original (SAF, NJ2AS, Kashinsky, Legend Firearms, et-al) case FACTS work for me better than supposition. If I want a story with FACTS, I get on the phone. Really wish more people here would learn, for once, to play nice & stop throwing gas on a fire! Have a COVID-19 free day! Rosey
