  1. Regardless of the intended use. Meaning if you plan on using 9mm rounds in a carbine, it's still considered handgun ammo. .410 shells can be fired from a handgun (Judge for example), but are not considered handgun ammo, so that's good to buy.

    Your First Hangun?

First handgun was a Brownng Buckmark Camper. Was in the market for a .22 and was leaning toward the Beretta Neos, but had a hard time finding one in NJ, and I liked the feel of the Buckmark. Great little .22, accurate, easy to clean, eats pretty much whatever I feed it. Looking at a Tactical Solutions barrel and grips for Christmas!
  3. Just go to PA to buy ammo, Wal Mart doesn't even ask for ID
  4. Nice choice and hope to see you at the range sometime!
  5. I just got that one too. Impressive catalog, felt like a throwback to reading he sears catalog as a kid!
  6. Count me in as a viewer if this thing ever gets to the air!
  7. West Deptford here too. Water bill constantly surprises me. I'm so ready to move, between that and the idiot neighbors across the street from me, one more reason to start looking around.
  8. Ok, maybe this is just the geek in me, but does anyone else think of Han Solo when they see that thing?
  9. It's not just United, it's Ohare. That place is a mess. And +11111111 for Singapore Air. Flight from Newark to Singapore last spring, 120 seats on the plane all business class. I'm 6'4" and I actually fear small in their seats. Fantastic service.
  10. I work about 1mile from a Walmart in PA, I buy most of my ammo there. Usually has 9mm Federal for 11 bucks a box. Occasionally the have Federal .22 bulk packs and I grab those when I see them too. Plus it gets me out of the lab for a while for lunch once a week or so!
  11. Actually 400 Not renewing for next year though. Probably going down to SJSC near my brothers house. Outdoor range and longer than 25 yards
  12. My head hurts after trying to decipher that....
  13. I asked Nessie and Champy and they both agreed on 2 points... 1. Bigfoot is a douchbag 2. Full auto conversions of any firearm by 2013 in the Garden State

Ok brief range report! 100 rounds, Federals and American Eagles, not one jam, FTF, FTE, stovepipe or anything. Grouping is ok at 10 yards, but that's just me getting used to it after getting spoiled with the Buckmark Camper! Grouped around 3/4" at 10 yards standing no rest. Going to put about 300-400 rounds through it to break it in before I start judging accuracy of the gun or the shooter though. Gotta get a mag loader, pushing these rounds in gts painful after only doing .22lrs and shotgun shells!

Thanks for the recommendations for the lock box. Should be taking it to the range tomorrow, putting at least 100-150 rounds through it.

    New Purchase

Picked up my new Beretta 92A1 from A&A this afternoon. Paul was great to deal with, even though the state decided to take an extra day to run my NICS check, so I had to make 2 trips to the store, one Saturday and one this afternoon. I'm sure they'll refund me the .50 per mile, right? Anyway, nice price from Paul, he got it in really fast for me since my pistol permit was about to expire. Came with 3 mags too, so I saved some cash there as well. Now I just need to find a decent nightstand safe. Looking at the Microvault Mini, anyone have any experience with them?
  17. I have a Remington 870 Supermag with the 28" barrel and fiber optic sights. Got it used for 250 it Only had 15-20 shells through it. Guy bought it from the shop and couldn't deal with the recoil. Saved me around 200 bucks!
  18. +1 to this. Bought my first compound bow, arrows and case from these guys. they know their stuff and are great to help newbies out.
  19. Nice! I was looking at a Beretta Neos with the carbine setup, but that is far nicer!
  20. Rumor has it they may put one in down outside of Glassboro off 322... Or so I was told by some friend of my wife, i tried not to laugh at her and was almost successful!
  21. It's almost too nice to use, but I'm sure I'll get over that soon enough.
  22. Kids gave me a beautiful Buck 102 Woodsman for Father's Day (early but we're going camping for Father's Day and they couldn't wait to give it to me). Very nice knife, beautiful cocobolo wood handle with brass finish on the pommel and guard.
