  1. I dealt with Lawman Supply a few times when they were located on route 30. They were definitely anti civilian. I even ran into an ex-salesman who now works at another gun store. He assured me that it was not my imagination.
  2. Check out the Savage 64...800 rounds so far. No malfunctions. Accurate and fun. (at 50 yrds with a 4x32 Simmons scope anyway)
  3. Typo, I changed it. The Remington sucked. The Winchester and CCI that the other shooters gave me worked fine.
  4. Always see stories about guns that don't work some brands of ammo. Never experienced that myself until today. Took my new Mossberg 702 to range. Was shooting or should I say trying to shoot using Remington 325 Value Pack ammo (copper coated 36 gr. Hollow points) Could not even get though a 10 round mag without jams, double feeds, crushed cases. I assumed that I had a lemon gun on my hands. Guy next to me says, hey maybe it’s the ammo. Duh… why didn’t I think of that? He gave 10 rounds of CCI and the gun performed flawlessly. Then then the guy on the other side of me gave me 10 rounds of Winchester. Again performed flawlessly. They both said Remington 22’s suck. Don’t know if that’s true or not but sure don’t work in my Mossberg.
  5. Always heart warming to see parents teaching their children how to shot. I salute you
  6. Good read thanks for posting. Do you use some type of funnel with the hot water? Sounds kind of messy.
  7. Been shooting at Telco over 10 years I love it there. 25, 50 & 100 yard ranges. No ammo or gun restrictions on 50 & 100 as long as it's NJ legal. Family atmosphere and friendly fellow shooters
  8. You can also swab out your barrel with Windex. The ammonia in it neutralizes the effects of the corrosive ammo. Then clean as normal after that.
  9. Nice, way cool. I always wanted one of those. But at least I have a GP100 and a Vaquero
  10. Wow bummer. Half the people at my range are shooting reloads and Mosins with sardine can ammo
  11. Had a 92FS. Never a failure of any kind but the ergonomics of the gun just did not work for me. But tons of people love them
  12. I've done lay-away a few times with 1/2 purchase price down balance when I pick up item in question. Both for in stock items and stuff that has to be ordered by the dealer for me
  13. Bore is bright but very lightly frosted. Bolt matches but magazine is a force match. Having wasted my time and money on previous occasions on various Mosin scopes & mounts I decided to try a Mojo click adjustable aperture sight. Could not focus in front sight pin as the two circles were just too blurry for my eyes. So I cut the top off the front sight hood. That did the trick. Was able to walk it in to almost a bull’s eye at 50 yards with 10 shots. I will fine tune it at 100 yards next time out. For me anyway the Mojo works better than stock set up and way better than those crap aftermarket scope mounts with long eye relief scopes. No permanent mods except for front sight and that would be an easy fix if I wanted to.
  14. LOL. I was a late bloomer. Did not shoot my first gun till I was 30. S&W 581 357/38. Sure wish I still had it.
  15. I just love it when the nice lady from the police dept. let’s me know that my permits are in. Picked them up this morning and straight to my favorite gun to store to liberate gun I had on lay-away. A minty early 1980’s S&W 669 in 9mm with two 12 round mags. Just back from range. Put 50 rounds of my reloads and 50 rounds of MagTec through it. Zero malfunctions, very accurate, nice ergonomics and trigger. Happy Happy Happy.
  16. My own 38 reloads with 158 gr lead semi wadcutter in a S&W model 64 along with a few single shot shotguns with stock mounted ammo holders. Firm believer on the kiss school of thought.
  17. Live in Mullica myself. Never a problem with permits. And every one I've meet when I go to the Police Station have been a pleasure to deal with.
  18. OK, waiting on a couple of P2P’s and plan to buy a couple revolvers. (Love that old school stuff) Anyway I already have a S&W 64, a Colt Police Positive, Ruger GP 100 and a Ruger Vaquero all great guns. Here’s the question. How disappointed am I going to be with a Taurus or Rossi? They both have a large selection in styles I like. Anyone here own one? How does it perform? And overall do you like it?
  19. Hmmmm maybe they have changed.Would be nice as they are close to me. Stopped going there years ago due to poor selection, lack of stock, ridiculous prices and poor service
  20. Way cool. Love that vintage stuff
