It appears it's up to each county's Sheriff! I strongly suggest everyone who sometimes finds themselves in PA and especially Philadelphia, take full advantage of this opportunity while it still exists!

I applied in person today at the Delaware County PA Sheriff's office. Was in and out in 20 minutes. They were very pleasant and I gave them my PA application, a copy of my NJ CCW card and a $20 bill. They took my picture and said I would receive a notice in the mail within 2 weeks to come back to pickup my PA permit. I asked them to please thank the Sheriff for helping us NJ people out and they promised they would pass that along to him! Most PA Sheriffs refuse to issue to non residents and those that do, deserve our gratitude!

Agreed! An AD can only happen with a gun malfunction. A ND is when your negligence causes the gun to fire when you did not want it to! There is no UID! In a lifetime of shooting I have had zero ADs and One ND. The ND was caused by my own stupidity and I will never forget that day and thank God I did not hurt anyone! It has made me anal to the extreme when it comes to handling any gun!

Huge difference! Florida require a hunter's education course or a DD-214 or just about any training. No live fire and No requalification EVER! We are not active duty law enforcement and we should not be held responsible to qualify at that level of proficiency! THIS IS BULLSHIT and FPM!
