All those FTFs sound like the hammer spring is installed backwards. Worth a check before we blame the upper.

Troy, If every thread stayed on topic the world would be a boring place! Conversations always go off on tangents! Live and let live! This forum is about guns in NJ. If we were a free state, life would be good and politics would be a minor subject if at all! Since we live in one of the WORST states in out great nation, politics touches most every subject! I have a good friend who believes in having lots of mags per gun. I can't afford 20+ mags per gun but he has spent $$$$ on mags alone! Who will reimburse him if the limit changes??? Better yet, we need 34,000 signatures and have 5 weeks left to recall Sweeney and are 14,000 signatures shy of that goal! Perhaps not such a crazy question! Since it's all about the number of evil features! I personally like my ARs too much to put that fugly stock on them! I would guess you could make that horrible trade off for a flash suppressor and still be legal but it would still need to be pinned and welded IMHO since the PRNJ is afraid if you have a threaded barrel you could put a silencer on it and those are illegal here period!

If you have a stock Saiga you are in the AK world where there is no upper or lower. you need only a simple conversion kit! There is no 7.65x39R, only 7.62x39. PM me and I will be happy to help you with the simple process!

Is your Saiga 7.62 still a Saiga??? Has it been converted to an AK47??? If not I would highly recommend that as your next project! You will never regret it!!!
