  1. Thanks to all on the advise. From JFK, we took the belt, the across Staten Island to the Outerbridge, and down the Parkway from there. Traffic was moving at a good clip all the way down. No issues. On the way back, we took mostly back roads. Through Millville (stopping at Flippers for Custard), through Hammonton, and working our way to 206, then up to Sommerville. Then the highway to Morristown.
  2. Was he in Morristown last night? I saw some similar big SUV's double parked at the square, with guys wearing rear pieces.
  3. Traffic lights and GSP just sound wrong together.
  4. Here is a list we can read opposite them http://www.revolutionarywararchives.org/warstats.html
  5. Can you carry it on your back on a motorcycle? Does it have to be in a case? NJSP kind of danced around on this one.
  6. I will be leaving JFK at about 8:00 AM, after picking up these folk from the airport. So I figure 8:30 am or so at the "decision point" by the Raritan bridge area.
  7. How will the traffic be on the GSP It is supposed to be a warm, sunny weekend, and I do not want to get stuck in 100 miles of Bumper to bumper traffic.
  8. I will be heading from JFK airport to Cape May on Sunday morning. Which is the fastest way to get there? Parkway all the way down, or take the NJTP down toward the bottom , and then cut across South Jersey?
  9. Another case where a 49 state legal gun is a bigger crime than the pot charge.
  10. Hookers and Blow Let it go out like a Rock Star.
  11. Another issue with these little changes is that it makes the guns harder to get and more expensive for NJ residents, It also kills the resale value of the gun by restricting the market for the gun. So it is a Lose - Lose for us
  12. He is being charged with obstruction of justice for TALKING?!?!?!?! Sounds like they are just piling on charges.
  13. I think it is kind of Ironic that they have to break their own laws to pass a bill, but expect common criminals to obey the laws.
  14. That looks like it could be interesting. The question will be is it just preaching to the choir, or will it reach a broader audience.
  15. If you have access (and the required skills) to a machine shop. NOTHING is permanent.
  16. So, Since the vote was stopped, is the bill dead? Per 12:3 of NJ Assembly rules motion during roll call vote, including motion to recess, is a violation. Per 10:22, bills reported by committee in violation of rules shall not be considered for third reading or final action. Per 10:6, each committee may adopt rules for its operation, provided rules are consistent with General Assembly Rules. http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/legislativepub/Rules/... It would seem to be, if they follow their own rules.
  17. Maybe he just missed, and called it a warning shot, thinking it would be less embarrassing than being called a bad shot.
  18. forms can be found here http://www.state.nj.us/njsp/info/forms.html#firearms
  19. I looked into it, You have to know the serial #'s of the pistols that you want to buy. So you just can not say I need a 2 glocks, a walther and a luger.
  20. <snip>Notwithstanding any other provision of any law or any rule or regulation of a State or any political subdivision thereof, any person who is not otherwise prohibited by this chapter from transporting, shipping, or receiving a firearm shall be entitled to transport a firearm for any lawful purpose from any place where he may lawfully possess and carry such firearm to any other place where he may lawfully possess and carry such firearm if, during such transportation the firearm is unloaded, and neither the firearm nor any ammunition being transported is readily accessible or is directly accessible from the passenger compartment of such transporting vehicle: Provided, That in the case of a vehicle without a compartment separate from the driver's compartment the firearm or ammunition shall be contained in a locked container other than the glove compartment or console. <snip> I keep on trying to figure out he intent of the law here. If the owner of the locked container has the key, who are they trying to keep out? It can't be the owner, he has the key.
  21. You should head up to North Jersey, It all looks like that.
  22. Nullification is a right of the people to fight laws that are unjust. If anything, it should be made known to Jurors prior to a trial, that they have the right to judge both the law and the accused.
