Get a Smith 629 44 magnum with a 6" barrel. Now that rocks.

Buy a manly 1911 5" barrel with VZ grips. I prefer 2 tone.

Don't leave anything on the floor, especially a basement...since that's where all the moisture ends up.....low low way low. Leave a piece of paper or cardboard on your basement floor & you'll see. Especially during the summer. Put them high on the shelf, way high (unless you have a hot hot room)

I would stay away from motor oils as they cause cancer in lab animals. I love mobil 1 myself but would shower & wash all my clothes as soon as I'm done with oil changes. We can argue all day whether it's true or not, but why would you take the chance when it's your health & there's so much other good lubes to use out there?

hey, is this the same guy who tunes rossi 18" 357 levers? or maybe I'm thinkin about someone else. I've shot one rossi and the double action was horrible. Whoa! I just spotted a rossi 357 stainless octagon 24" lever on GB!

just don't pick marlin. the quality control has down down the tubes. don't expect it to save your life as a home defense piece.
