  1. Definition of an "assault Shotgun" under 2C - the actual black letter law. 2C:39-1w(3) A semi automatic shotgun with either a magazine capacity exceeding six rounds, a pistol grip, or a folding stock. The stuff in the Administrative Code (Title 13) was added later (in August of 1996) after the state got sued (State of NJ v Merrill) and lost because the AWB law under 2C was ruled to vague with it's "substantially identical" language. The then AG plagiarized the federal AWB wording (which was by that time in effect) and added the "evil features" language to the AC to clarify the vague language of the NJ AWB under 2C, therefore satisfying the court requirement that the state define what exactly "substantially Identical" means. Soooo....... no pistol grips on semi auto shotguns - period
  2. ^^^THIS^^^^ Semi auto shotguns cannot have pistol grips, regardless of the other evil features
  3. The OP's store was in Delaware.......so pink cards wouldn't apply, that's a Jersey thing.
  4. I understand Ryan's point........and the best thing to do, if this bill were to pass in any form, is to limit the additional charge to certain serious felonies, like the body armor law - murder, robbery, rape , etc. That way the Dems could claim they did something to prevent crime but it wouldn't affect gun owners who might commit some minor infraction.
  5. Maybe all the managers at that location quit, I think with these chain stores the store manager(s) is/are listed on their FFL as the Responsible Person.
  6. Pink Cards are a NJ thing.......this store is is in Delaware, so they wouldn't need to worry about that.
  7. I have one in stock, includes a scope. http://njgunforums.com/forum/index.php/classifieds/item/1950-gamo-big-cat-22-air-rifle/
  8. I have target shotgun ammo.......I'm not in the office right now but IIRC the price is $74.99 a case or $7.99 for single boxes, and no shipping charges! Remington, Federal and Estate 12 gauge and 20 Gauge.
  9. Why not? the more places to shoot the better, and after a year or two the (more rational) people opposed to the store will see that people coming and going legally with guns is not a problem and will not have a valid argument to base their opposition to the store on anymore (not that they really have one now). The range owner could then try again to get a store in there.
  10. Get $100 off this Para 1911 a rebate offer from Para. http://njgunforums.com/forum/index.php/classifieds/item/2412-para-expert-1911-stainless-45-acp-nib/
  11. NO.....The detachable mag is the qualifier for it to be an "assault weapon", not one of the evil features. Without the detachable mag, anything goes - as long as it's: not over 15 round capacity, less than 26" in overall length, or has a barrel less than 16".
  12. Just got one of these in if anyone is looking for one. http://njgunforums.com/forum/index.php/classifieds/item/2412-para-expert-1911-stainless-45-acp-nib/
  13. I have these in stock for $8.49 if anyone wants some..........
  14. All the FN 49's are legal because they have fixed mags, except the Argentine which has a detachable mag.
