Stand Hunters: What Do You Bring And How Do You Bring It?
ccrides350 replied to Bully's topic in Hunting, Fishing & More
A empty wide mouth Gatorade bottle for use as a tree urinal. -
wow...a lot to cover, I just go with magazines. Hexmags have been good to me, they come with 30 round bodies but 15 round limits. I've put about 500 rounds down range with out any issues and at about 11.99 to the door they have become my favorite.

How to figure out what a rifle is chambered in?
ccrides350 replied to 302w's topic in Firearm Hobby / Sport Discussion
I'm pretty sure a chamber cast needs to be taken. -
I will second the Emerson Combat Karambit. I worked with a guy who trained in edged weapons and he swore by the Emerson Karambit, I went out and picked one up. Beauty of a blade, Ive picked up a few more Emerson's and have been fan since.

Where's the sale email??
-
Kind of makes sense now why when I when I asked what .22 ammo was on sale the guy behind the counter was acting strange. I felt like he was waiting for the secrete password or something. Does anyone want to share this email with me so I can score some .22 ammo on sale?

I was at a Dicks Sporting Goods this morning and was told there is a sale if i had the emailed coupon for .22 ammo. Does anyone have this coupon to post?

Came out real nice, your rifle looks great.

This is all very strange and coincidental that SAPPA all of a sudden pops up and is conducting a meeting on the same day as the "apply to deny meeting"??? Can anyone that has a credible reputation with NJGF vouch for this person that he is indeed a firearms enthusiast? Or even members of NJR&PC where he claims verify this guy? I don't mean to sound rude towards someone helping the cause but this is pretty deep stuff with a lot of verbal judo for it to all of a sudden pop up and nobody at least to this point knows this guy or his agenda. Members of this forum have been on the same page and working towards a concealed carry answer, I'd hate to see it getting derailed.

Welcome!

I purposely keep my 15-22 iron sights only just stay proficient on them. I do play with my back up sights on my AR too occasionally, mostly to make sure they still are zeroed.

No, I wouldn’t. I see where you’re going with this question and I don’t agree. I believe most people in the same situation would feel the way I do, they would expect the sales price because it’s being advertised and the product had not left the store meaning the sale wasn’t completed. Would most people not go back after that, I don’t know? But I’ll stand by my previous statement “ ….we have different beliefs on what customer service is.”

NRA video-72yr old NJ man+flintlock=FELON!
ccrides350 replied to siderman's topic in Firearm Hobby / Sport Discussion
Antique firearms would be exempt from N.J.'s gun law under lawmaker's proposal http://www.nj.com/cumberland/index.ssf/2015/02/nj_assemblywoman_to_introduce_antique_firearm_legi.html#incart_river -
Nice!!! Great addition to your collection.

That is so good to hear.

I paid in full for the M&P not to lock in a price (which was a bit higher than other places) but to show I was serious about the purchase with them and not just saying I’ll be back when I get permits. When I went back the pistol was on sale, why didn’t I get the sale price? Because in good faith paid in full? And I wanted to drop more money in there store that very day. I was in retail for quite a while and we would have honored the sale price we were advertising especially if the product never left the store. So yes if hanging Smith and Wesson M&P sales posters in your store and sending a current sales flyers to my house means you don’t have to honor the prices your promoting than we have to different beliefs on what customer service is. So I will boycott that store and spend my hard earned money else were.
