I could meet you tomorrow morning if you need it ASAP. Message me.

Want that padded psa box back? I still have it and was attempting to justify not throwing it out, but I don’t have the room.

Does router have to be first in line from modem?
0Jeep4 replied to Barms's topic in General Discussion
Personally I’d buy a router for the basement. Turn off the WiFi broadcast, hook up your Ethernet. Install your other router wherever you have cat5, but you’d need to configure the second router into “AP” mode (access point) so you don’t run into an IP conflict. Sonos most likely did this internationally. I remember my old xbox360 wouldn’t recognize any WiFi adapter except the $100 Microsoft one. -
PSA: 16" Mid-length upper with Nickel BCG - $279 Free SH
0Jeep4 replied to Maksim's topic in Hot Deal Discussions
I have a psa upper it’s one of the marked FN barrel versions. Shoots great, I did swap out the bcg for a nickel boron, no issue with the psa, just had a better one. It’s been great to me so far no malfunctioning only about 1,000 rd through it though. -

According to the SAFE ACT your NJ legal AR is NOT legal in NY https://safeact.ny.gov/sites/default/files/assets/documents/RiflesBannedFeatures.pdf https://safeact.ny.gov/sites/default/files/assets/documents/RiflesthatAREclassifiedasassaultweapons.pdf -
Thanks guys. I guess it really just becomes a personal thing.

I want to do this, I have one friend of mine insisting that I spent the money on a match barrel so I should break to get the accuracy out of it.
-
Okay I should know this isn’t going to end well, I need some first hand advice though, not what I read heard etc. I just put on a SS .223 Wylde barrel on an AR should I go through the 1 shot clean Break in or just shoot it and clean.

Thanks for the explanation. I’m assuming even though they are running it it still shows your an N.J. resident and at that particular time you’re not eligible because of the 30day. Was just curious because I just finished a class for Florida CC and was about to apply.
-
Does Florida have a 30 day wait period? I’m just curious how an N.J. law somehow affects Florida.

I visited MM. Never shot one, but I handled one of there 16inch models. Rifle was light and well balanced. Fit and Finish looked great. When funds become available it’s definitely on my to buy list.

What crime did he commit?
0Jeep4 replied to Ray Ray's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
So if my neighbor sees me cleaning or carrying my scary black rifle inside my house I can expect this response ? -
Don’t know where your at in NJ. I had Steve at Monmouth Arms (http://m.monmoutharms.com/) do my compliance work. He’s a vendor on the forum. Good work reasonably priced I’d check the vendor list and see who’s close to you and give them a call about pricing turn around time etc.. https://www.njgunforums.com/forum/index.php?/forum/183-njgf-vendor-ffls/

By pre installed is it just spun on the threads ? Are you able to remove it, by hand or wrench? If it was pre installed its most likely already welded on, and can’t be removed. If it can be removed any FFL local to you that does any kind of gun smithing should be able to help you out.

This is exactly what they want. I got friends that would be interested in owning firearms and shooting sports, but they’re too afraid/scared of applying like it a huge deal or something.

That’s how they get away with it. We allow it to happen, so somehow it just becomes well we’ve been allowed to do it this long so ......

Small piece of electoral tape solves this issue. If you find any pics of “zuck”or anyone else of computer knowledge their laptop cameras are always covered for that reason.

Not legal advice, ( not a lawyer) but I was told by many that as long as its in separate pockets. Example Backpack- guns in the large pouch, ammo in smaller separate pouch.

Only $50 For Handgun Purchase Permits
0Jeep4 replied to 45Doll's topic in Pending Legislation Discussion
So to transfer and purchase a pistol you’re at 50bucks for the permit. 20 to NJSP portal so they can send your local pd background check, 45 for NICS, 40-60 for transfer fee from FFl. We’re well past the &100 mark. -
Only $50 For Handgun Purchase Permits

Thank you for the quick response. Thankful that it would have to legislators unfortunately I have very little faith in them doing the right thing, going from their track record. -
